Perhaps Caedes "upscaling" comment is telling. Lockheed is not talking upscaling but doing in a very small package fitting the unit into a truck, what an experiment would look like in a lab, not the sprawling facilities being prepared elsewhere the UK?.
Oil will always have a market for it's chemical use. PS. If the closest Fusion reactor, the SUN would be taken as anexample, small is ,ore beautiful.
The smaller the "burning" core, total mass, the longer the reaction will "burn". For equal comfort from the smaller " fusion fire", just move closer.
