Makes me laugh that people get shirty about what they post on a forum that is of little interest to 99% of the population, yet they tell everything about themselves on social media sites like facebook.

Dis-member, anyone that posts on any public forum or sends any email needs to assume the information will be backed up and remain searchable for decades. Even if Simon did delete it, it will be stored by other parties.

Heck, the Library of Congress is mandated to preserve digital content....forever. I see from their terms of reference that they are limiting themselves to significant content. I wonder what is significant to a librarian?
