AAWA is like a new-born baby still sitting in it's own birth fluid and there are idiots standing around screaming at it, "You stupid baby, why don't you clean yourself up, put on a decent suit, and get a job!" OF COURSE it has to get it's footing, of course there are going to be mistakes. It's just DAYS old. Why hasn't AAWA just learned from.....wait a minute...that's right, this has never been attemped before at this level! If you've never been the head of anything BIG you can't possibly understand there is no way to please everyone & you will be attacked from many sides, just for simply stepping out.
I'm involved with AAWA & I can tell you everyone I've had contact with is right now enthusiastically going about the business of helping put an end to the WT's abuses of people. I salute Cedars and others for attempting to do BIG things to end the WT's BIG abuses.

I assure you Marvin has been here from the outset and even before inception. He also has fact and details that few if any here know about. Again with the lambaste and condescending soapbox rhetoric. Nothing monumentally backfired. AAWA is functioning as intended. Organization, volunteer base, membership, and addressing various issues. Most impressive if you could be there to observe it. I see absolutely no amatures, in fact the past histories of activism amonst members is down right moving.

How do you know what was done to various volunteers for problems that arose? Nobody from AAWA claims to be better than anyone. Be careful. There are some incredible AAWA volunteers that are the meekest people you would ever meet. Many of them are right here reading all these posts.

Its no joke Lost. In fact its pretty darn serious. Victims of abuse are receiving the help they need right now from specific facets of AAWA. Every day people are being helped. The only slurs are the ones you are perpetuating right here right now. Nobody actively trying to expose horrific WT policies needs to get knocked down a peg or two.

Egos have flaired on both sides lost. It makes everyone human. How we wade through those egos and arrive at COMMON GOOD is what should be dwelled upon and sought to achieve.

Yes people have been hurt. Blame has been cast in every direction. Understanding of the issues lest speculation and assumption has exacerbated the issues. EVERYONE IS SORRY that some people were outed! Steps have been taken to remedy that problem. Still further steps are being discussed with fervor to mend the problems further.
