Does the Pope crap in the woods?
"Project value". That is the key, isn't it, terry. Those who want to be enlightened gather and read lots of books, find many teachers. Once a person is enlightened, they throw away all their books, leave their teachers, lose their religions. Reminds me of the buddhist saying, 'if you see buddha on the road, kill him'.
You sound like a teacher, terry.

When you consider the range of ideas and history presented in the Bible you should be including the Zend-Avesta Pahlavi texts from the Zoroastrians, Socrates and Aristotle, Nag Hammadi writings and just about every culture within a thousand miles radius of Palestine.
THE BIBLE is a collection of 66 books one of them only 2 pages long. They were selected from many manuscripts many of which were rejected as unsuitable. It has been retranslated, edited and manipulated to a point where most Christians have ceased to defend its authenticity or even recognize it as the word of ‘God.’ It is an unreliable and flawed source of reference.
Of course it contradicts itself as does all legend and mysticism and all attempts to fabricate truth. Truth is to be found in nature which never contradicts itself. It never lies or attempts to explains itself, it simply is reality.
