How Many Here Were Turned Down For "Privileges" Because You Weren't "Exemplary"?

    I always found that at times when I was feeling high , I was not used, but appointments to M/S and elder came when I was low and knew in my heart that I did not qualify...So much for "Spirit Appointments"!

    I can relate. I was appointed MS when I was 18 (maybe late 17 - can't remember now). I definitely was not qualified but it made me feel that maybe I was better qualified than I thought. I think that's what helped keep me duped...that I was being used at such an age when deep inside I had issues.

    But later on, after busting my ass for several years and doing everything that was asked of me, I was removed...because my service average was below the congregation average (that and a couple of new elders didn't like me).
