    There, I said it.

    How can you leave one brainwashing controlling world view and dive right into another?!

    Duh!!!

    See http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=17131&site=3 for a great example of why they suck.

    AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHH!

    Mike;

    I'm an ex-JW, I'm a Christian, and I've been enjoying your site from time to time.

    What seems to be the problem here?

    Don't get so excited. Not everyone falls right back into the hell hole (or a similar hell hole) they came from. But I have met some of them, and they can be frustrating sometimes. Don't be discouraged. Whatever you search for or do, do it because you want to not because you need to show everyon else something. PS I didn't get to look at your site because of an error message. Maybe someother time. Have a nice day!

    Mike,

    I'm also an - exJW and I'm a Christian. I too have benefited from your site, along with Kent's and Randy's. I don't think you suck because you're not a Christian. I respect the fact that you have your own beliefs and I have mine. I work hard at not pushing my agenda/beliefs onto non-Christians, but just share my viewpoints. Why not live and let live?

    All i see on that thread is that someone made some observations and gave some opinions. I can't see what harm there is in that. Perhaps I am overlooking something.

    Otherwise, if you can't handle someone giving an opinion that you might not like or appreciate, then the problem rests not with the ex-JW Christians, but with you.

    I think being an ex-JW is all about tolerance. Many choices we might not personally agree with or understand, but respecting people's right to believe what they would like to as long as it does not harm others is IMO one of the greatest lessons learned from the JW experience.

    Hi Mike,
    How can you still believe Watchtower slander of every other faith? Do you still sympathize with your puppet masters in Brooklyn?
    Cheers!

    Its a matter of free will. Religion helps some with this life. Thats cool! I would be happy with ex-JW Christians as long as they do not torment you with their fundamentalism! Fundamentalism sucks!

    Relax. There are also moderate well-balanced exJWs who are Christians. Besides the exJW Christians group which appears to be mostly fundamentalist in orientation there is the Free Christians Newsletter which is for all exJWs and Friends in general. In fact for a free subscription contact [email protected]. Among atheists there are also some who are rigid in stance but others who are more flexible and strive for balance. Randy Watters is fundamentalist in beliefs but has often proved very kind, helpful and well-balanced.
