There is no win with that organization. everything is on their terms. As long as a person stays in, they will do what society says. All of us who were in lose our family but gain freedom.

Maddie I feel for you! It is so important that you see your granchild otherwise your granchild won't get to know you (I've seen it happen with my gran and brother - she refuses to see him because my mother and I are disfellowshipped, and well there is no natural affection there)
Maddie you need to make your stand as granny. You love your son and his family and just want to be a part of it. Let him know that it does upset you and that you cry. Let him know that it's not fair that they change plans at the last miniute - OR act like you didn't get the sms and go over anyway.
