It's funny but I always thought his character changed in the new testament as opposed to the old testament and I guess you just confirmed that. But then again God changed rather dramatically himself, must have been some major restructioning of the heavenly office.

The Budhist have a kind of quaternity with the Yin-Yang. Good/Evil & Evil in the Good/Good in the Evil.
Cygnus, that is interesting, and sounds to me to be quite simmilar to the Greek god Hades, no?
