I can only speak for my JW and I think she is a victim of her own stupidity. Her family are the true victims in all of this.

The Witnesses are eager to hear about the wrongness of other religions but are too lazy to look at their own faith.
I remember when I was an active JW reading such books as 30 Years a Watchtower Slave and being unimpressed. The way it was written compelled me to think the author was now writing as a shill of mainstream Christendom with just as much certainty and conviction about his newly acquired opinions as he had been about his previous JW beliefs.
Back then, the anti-JW writings were rather poorly written, IMHO.
I often wonder what I might have thought had the internet been available??
I'm convinced I would have been on a JWD-type forum having "deep" discussions :)
