Men have no business even participating in the discussion in this thread for the most part, because really, what does any one of us really think we can do about it? With a few exceptions, and I doubt any of those are even reading this, no man has ever stepped in and taken on the responsibility for raising the child whose life they insist should be preserved or allowed to come to be.

It's easy to say what someone else should do when we don't have to be burdoned with the consequenses from the action or lack of. Men have overstepped their abilities to be just and fair for as long as mankind has existed, the only life built or created has always been from women.

They were entrusted with the responsibility for creating life for a reason, that doesn't go away because they make a choice we do not agree with.

The pro-lifer sees a child with a problem; the pro-abortionist sees the child as a problem.

Unfortunately there are rarely only two sides or two options to go with. Pro-Choice means it's none of my business until men start getting pregnant, and then as long as it's not me...still not my choice to make.

I have no opinion on what is worse

I made no assertion of right or wrong on the morality of killing

    Morality is an individual choice

I merely stated the obvious truth that one can not effectivly change anything with an opinion

The perception of an opinion as a means to an end , as some sort of vehicle to empowerment, is merely indicative of a deluded mind set that insists on it own importance above another individuals.

I agree that ending the life of a human being is undesirable and aborhant

That being said ,it is not my right to make other peoples choices for them . That belief , that assumption is corrupt and suspect.

In the big scheme of things all we do is nothing more than a small personal experience that changes very little in the world around us or in the greater arena of existence.

If one could advance an ideal free of corruption that brought freedom and understanding, the situations that have a need for choice to kill or not would be much less likely to arise , so debateing what is or what isn't or hitting around an opinion is rather pointless unless one has a message that requires people to think in a new way and in that way causing new behavior

Belaboring the obviousness of a given situation is nothing more than a massaging of the ego and completely moot

Spoken like a truly emasculated man. Another victim of rabid feminism.

Morality is absolute, not relative, not a delusion, and the absolutes are spelled out in the Bible.

You are joking right! Read the bible again! what happened between the new and old testament; any moral diffrences there, any laws change or were revoked ?

This assertion is absolutely untrue. Pro-lifers show deep concern for mothers and their babies before and after birth.

My recent exgirl friend would be example of how wrong you are she is suffering bad from near lack of help with her children in fact she is losing them to her ex. She is pro-life too, she chose to keep the last baby ( really almost gave it up for adoption ) and she can't make it on her own she is relying on her meth addict mother for support.

There was also a expose on the porn industry featuring a mother a pro-life who turned to porn because her christian ( NON JW MIND YOU ) family would not help her out due to having a child out of wedlock. She even sought church assistance to no avail. She makes a nice living now in the porn industry. I think she is pro-choise now too.

    5go,

I read the Bible everyday. I have done so for decades, and I'm roughly two times your age. So I know it much better than you will ever know it. Your lack of understanding, lack of education, and lack of reading comprehension that you clearly demonstrate on a regular basis reveals your lack of knowledge on this subject as much as any other. Murder is a sin of the highest magnitude, and, as noted previously in this thread, abortion is murder. This law was never "changed or revoked" in the NT. It wasn't until "Roe v Wade" that the radical feminist agenda made it "legal" to murder your children. Anyone with morals knows that is due to society's moral decay, not a sign of upholding what is right.

You are sounding like you don't bother reading your bible. Why don't you start with the law of Moses consentrate on the 10 comandments and then read what Jesus has to say about the law of Moses. You are also overlooking the circumcision requirement that was revoked. The dietary requirements that were revoked under the new testement. The cleanliness standards that were revoked as well. Do I need to go futher.

Each generation dictates what is moral what is acceptable

If one was born into a culture of accepted violence then that would be the absolute norm

Any experience with the creators true intention is self evident by the fact that love is all that is contained therein , any negative emotion such as anger , hate , intolerance and any action such as ridicule or derision is not of the creator but merely a manifestation of self .

The only absolute in life is the absolute desire to obtain knowledge of the creator and to become one with the creator

The ideas man hold dear and the books man write have very little to do with the creator

I told my JW friend about this discussion, and although we disagree on some topics, he showed me some bible passages that clearly state if you support the death penalty, and you call yourself pro-life you are a hypocrite. Pro life is for all human life.

The funny thing is that most right wing nutbags clearly want the government to stay out of peoples lives, except a womans womb. Another double standard.

I was told today by my friend that a person thinking like that could NEVER be one of Jehovahs Witnesses (not that I would encourage that).

Try reading the Bible one more time, and stay away from my wifes reproductive organs. None of your damn business.

I dont really care for pro lifers they destroyed America when they gave us George Bush for president.

Pro lifers are too narow minded. And hypocritical.

If your pro life go down to your local juvenile detention facility and adopt a few and that will keep you busy for the rest of this life.

But you guys never do. You just run your mouth and infringe on others freedom of choice.
