We've had problems with both racoons and possums. Depending on the time of the year, we also get ground hogs messing with things (although I've mostly opened up a can of wup ass on ground hogs and exterminated them around here - they can tear up a buildings foundation).
I can't bring myself to shoot the coons though. Their so dang cute. Guess it sucks to be ugly in the animal kingdom.
