  Also I have seen a horrible thing in the

  prophets of Jerusalem:

  They commit adultery and walk in lies;

  they also strengthen the hands of

  evildoers,

  so that no one turns back from his

  wickedness.

  All of them are like Sodom to Me,

  and her inhabitants like Gomorrah.

  Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts

  concerning the prophets:

  Behold I will feed them with

  wormwood,

  and make them drink the water of gall;

  for from the prophets of Jerusalem

  profaneness has gone out into all the

  land." (Jeremiah 23:11-15)

  I had a horrible nightmare one rainy Friday night, that Mom and Dad swooped by in their big four door Witlessing car and dragged me into the back seat. They sped to the territory while I frantically dug in my purse for my cell phone to call my husband. I kept looking out the windows till he pulled up behind us. He said, "Now, she doesn't want to do this, so I'm just bringing her back home with me!" They murmured, "Some other time, dear."

  Just a bad dream, of course I wouldn't just happen to be in my driveway on Saturday morning in a skirt, with my purse in hand. Hubby wouldn't just hunt down Mom and Dad's car and rescue me, and they just smile as I shriek and jump into his Jeep. Not to menntion, they live 1700 miles away... dreams can be totally illogical, but string bits and pieces together of things that have been worrying you, into some kind of psychedelic collage. I guess I still don't feel completely safe from the spying and harassment I got from the elders before I packed up and fled out of state.

  I have been out for more than 25 years, and I still have nightmares about the whole thing. You are not alone.
