I have seen it way too often, angel...Women want money...it goes into that whole security/provider thing. To wit: my last gf left me to go back to her gay ex-husband who just happens to be loaded.

Remember: If you date a person for money, you'll earn every penny.

well.........Men can date for other reasons too.. I am still paying off bills my 2nd husband left me with..

and there was no love at all in his plan..

just money and a green card...

however, this is not a hard an fast rule. But there is a reason that guys on a winning streak at the craps table in Vegas are flanked by 4 playmates, and I doubt it has to do with his gentle touch.

I know a couple who won 5.5 million in the lottery.

After a year or so.. they still had the money but the love was gone. Divorced now.

So the question is. Did the money kill the love?

I guess the real lucky ones are the ones with both, Sassy. Love and money.

When I worked in the investment world, I got really turned off by the money grubbin females that preyed in the financial district. Literally all it would take is a flash of hte platinum card or saying the magic word, I work in the Investment Industry and playmates were to be found.

Admittedly I was slightly overweight and not a lot to look at but it didn't matter to many of these gals.

I left the Industry and found a whole new world of people who don't really give a damn about what you do or how much money you make. It is the kind of person you are that matters.

I find I am harder on myself than any woman is regarding how much I make. I put more pressure on myself about being able to provide, than any woman has in the past 4 years. Of course I was with the same person for over 3 of those years and my gross or net worth mattered not to her.

Perhaps Badger you create more of the pressure on yourself than the gals do either that or you need to travel in different circles.
