So, if you handed a JW a copy of the UN report on the WTBS involvement, how do they react? Are they able to explain this away? Do many even know about it? Just curious.

One elder I showed it to basically said that either I am lying or even if all the documentation was true that it was just a mistake.
It is like trying to convince a brick wall...

one PO told a relative of mine when she asked that it was just an apostate lie and that apostates fudged un letter heads and had a fake un website that faked the report.. talented fellas you apostates lol

It wasn't a PDF file, it was a zipped Word document, entitled "The NGO issue-complete." But I have forgotten who wrote it! It was someone who posts here.

I talked to my dad about this a while back, and showed him the letter that was printed on the UN site. He said it was a fake at first, but I managed to convince him otherwise at which point he said he wasn't bothered about it. He looked pretty suprised when I said that the witnesses in Malawi who were persecuted for not being able to join a political organisation were probably pretty bothered about it.
