Even more of what you don't want to read is online. The KM are now online under WOL. http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/lv/r1/lp-e/0/20397

thnaks for posting this. i've been in congregations that were super strict with KMs, but really the amount they get is determined by publishers + unbaptized publishers, so they are limited. but they've never been available publicly like this before, only authorized jw.org accounts could download them (often just MS/elders)

    goes back to 2010 http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/lv/r1/lp-e/0/20283

    EDIT

wow they're freely available on the website now as PDFs too http://www.jw.org/en/publications/kingdom-ministry/ , this is a big change in policy.

The KM's have now been standardized. All or most countries will receive the US KM version now starting this new service year onwards

The letter read out at the meeting also said that disfellowshipped ones can also have a copy now!

    That is a marked change!

It used to be only given to active publishers...not even children of families could have one unless they were a "publisher"

Does anyone have a copy of this letter?

It's not been read at our congregation and I have not seen it here.

Information Control - it might look like slackening control but the reality is its a new rule to remind you who holds the leash and which end you are at :-)

Interesting. As mentioned, it's always been a sort of elite thing.

I can think of 2 reasons for the change.

    1) Putting it out there easily accessible will probably reduce printing costs as more people download it.

    2) They might feel it gives you greater buy-in. They're already down to only 2 visits to the KH every week. They don't want people tuning out because they have nothing to follow along with. And maybe they figure the non-pubs will want to become pubs after reading these.

I've been expecting them to do this for a while now, I'm actually surprised it took them this long. My guess is that they got tired of people finding TTATT by searching for the KM PDFs. They've been pushing for everyone to get an iPad so it's only natural that people stumble upon this forum or jwleaks because they do a google search for the KM after a failed attempt to find it on jw.org

Now publishers won't have to come to "apostate" sites to get their KMs...
