  i cheated on my wife and i told her what happend and she forgave me......but she told my sister #1(baptized but doesn't go to meetings) what happend.

  then sister #1 proceeded to tell sister #2 (die hard witness).

  now sis #2 is giving me till wed to turn myself in or she is going to do it.

  an excellent british author francis wheen has written a humorous yet very serious book on how enlightenment has lost out to what he calls ?mumbo jumbo among most people.. in his book ?how mumbo jumbo conquered the world a short history of modern delutions?

  he demonstrates how widespread this is.

  comparing the presidents back 200 years ago with the ones running in the election of 2000 he notes: .

  Yes, a deliberate scheme. This is ordered chaos, not random at all. To watch a teenager attempt to manipulate four products' prices on paper when the power goes out at a 7-11 can be torture. Expedience has replaced the thinking process.

  all of us could document the written false prophecies of the wtower, 1799, 1874, 1914 -15-18-19-1935-75.by 2000....etc but how about the unwritten ones?

  The reason The Slaves couldn't move the 607 BCE date was it was the kingpin in a house of cards. The other reason they couldn't go to the 587/586 BCE date is they would have to reissue flashcards and that would be bad PR. Almost like the Java language spec. - write once, run anywhere. Freddie Franz had more imagination (delusions) than Charlie Manson.

  the typical jehovah's witness no longer is the strong, spiritual giant.

  lately, i hear more and more "very inactive" jws that haven't gone to a congregation meeting in years, still consider themselves good jws.

  If I remember correctly, you were the fan of aluminum bats, not the standard Louisville Sluggers. Bats in the past have been used for re-education, but I believe you're past that point. On one other post we discussed protecting the K. halls during Halloween, now maybe we should descend on the halls and take charge of talk number 1 on Thursday and the Public Talks on Sunday. No outlines, no mics, just a few words, and of course - bats - ala Judge Ruffemup! As I stated on another post this week, I believe it's just a matter of time before some crazies on these boards DO descend on "God's House" - ha! ha!

  Distractions at the Convention

  i read the post where some kid let go of a helium balloon at a convention, and everyone was watching it.

  when i used to attend the conventions, i loved distractions.

  i always heard multiple "pssst" sounds from people opening cans of cott cola.

  Loved the assemblies at racetracks, watching the horses practice. When a thunderstorm rolled in, all the stir, that was great! The best, 1972 Scarborough Maine when a few convicts escaped from prison and the staties thought they might have circulated amidst the JW assemby crowd, so we all had to leave early that day, slowly, as each car was inspected for a con or two. Hell, we were the cons!
