  so if i send money to al gore to pay for carbon credits, will it warm up the 30 degree temperature outside today?

  pearly on years ago when i realized a few people and organizations were using junk science as away to build a cottage industry of money making and taxing, i knew it was a hoax.

  then when the data came back to show the earth has been cooling instead of warming, the con artists changed the label from global warming to climate change.. believe what you want to, i don't care, but blind allegiance to the gw idea is so similar to jw belief in my mind, blind!.

  Lets just agree on this. The world would be a cleaner, more civil and happier home if EVERYONE rode Harley Davidsons. It might be noisier but Im willing to put up with it.

  How about Bob Ross? (Just kidding) - well you are lightyears over my head with your art understanding. I just have a rudimentary appreciation for some of the classic painters. I fell in Love with Van Gogh several years ago - I would give anything to own one of his works. I druelled all over the Louvre a few years ago and get to go back in a Month to Paris. I was blown away by the Amazing paintings of Jacques-Louis David, they were so magnificient in scale and color. Got to go to Florence - but not nearly enough time there, could spend half a lifetime admiring all the works.

  I'd like to say I was being clevor, but that would be a lie. Obviously my mental capacity has deteriorated while working this weekend. In fact I give up, global warming, I mean global cooling, I mean climate change - is real and its all my fault.

  Im sorry for single handedly ruining the environment. Do I get the choice of beheading or hanging?

  Yes this is a classic thread, and I do like hearing other peoples opinions and thoughts.

  Here is my idea, I would bet hard cash that in the Climate Loon crowd errr, scientistic devotees we could ditch every gas burning car, return all farming techniques to the Middle ages, exchange all lightbulbs to Obama bulbs (except mine of course) in case lets just go back to candles. Forward 50 years or a hundred years - we would meet back at the same place we are today.

  In other words the world is not going to end by Armaggedon, or CO2 emissions. We have a far better chance of blowing ourselves up via a terrorist nuclear bomb, which is what I think we should be talking about anyway.

  Bohm, I read a number of scientific journals including Mad Magazine and Robb Report (oops - sorry). I just read and think - for myself.

  I noticed the technique of calling people who don't share others view as Climate Skeptics and Deniars. Cute technique. Since the sun has a far greater inpact on the earths climate that humans will ever have, why not focus on controlling sun spots and solar flares. Im sure if we impose enough carbon credit taxes we can save the planet, if we hurry,,,,,
