I've thought about all those things you mentioned and get really angry when my father doesn't like what I was interested in and makes me go through hell when I'm trying to sign up - looter

I think this is quite abusive really, I feel he is too controlling, if my ex was like this with my son I would say something, but his dad lets him pick subjects he want's, he used to try an force him to go in service and to meetings, but now he has stopped forcing him.

I am glad you think you are better now, and you're not baptized. I will resurrect this post in 6 months again to see if things have changed, but if things get worse before start a new thread to seek some advice, I might not see it because we are in different time zones but I am sure others will give good advice take care looter

ohhh looter I missed this thread six months ago. I am so sorry about your mother and your brother. You should consider living with your niece, especially as she is like a mother and loves you very much.

I can't believe you have been on this site since you were about 15 yrs old. That's very young, but good for you. My son is 14 and I don't think he would be competent at posting threads on an internet forum when he reaches 15.

Glad your education is doing well.

Let us know how things have been? Where are you now?

Elders harassing me

hi everyone, it has been a while since i've last updated!

(refer to my previous posts for the full story) here is a quick re-cap: 2 months ago my mother found out that i am living with my boyfriend, she told me i was discovered by an "anonymous" tipper who turned me in for "living in sin".. first of all, that is nearly impossible, the congregation i was in is 100's of miles away from where i currently live.. no one would have ever known i was living with my boyfriend unless i told them, which i never did, i cut off all communication with that congregation in part of my attempted fade which was blown into pieces and discovered.. anyways, my mom tells me if i don't go to the elders and confess like a good little sheep, then she is obligated to tell them.. ( don't see why, i don't even live under her roof ) well i never went to them because why should i?

so they met with my mother and she told them i live with my boyfriend... let me remind you, this was two months ago.. i was told i was going to be df'd and that was that.

Do you think any animals will ever reach human intelligence?

if all life was truly random, then what happened that allowed humans to it's current intelligent state, do you think non humans could and will reach that in the future?
