i hear there will be a special local needs outline provided by the branch this week.
does anyone have details?
will this be a regional thing only?
The rank & files have not offered enough rooms for the international delegates and missionaries who have no money for hotel rooms.
So maybe the publishers have to endure a 20 minute guilt trip about hospitality.
So brothers & sisters, let us read together:
(Romans 12:13) Share with the holy ones according to their needs. Follow the course of hospitality.
(Hebrews 13:2) . . .Do not forget hospitality, for through it some, unknown to themselves, entertained angels. . .
i hope someone can give me a quick answer to this question.
the 1974 yearbook of jehovah's witnesses tells the story of the movement in germany with much detail about experiences witnesses had during the years of the third reich.
one of the stories was about life in the dachau concentration camp when it was under the command of a man nicknamed "foursquare.
@ Quendi:
On the german wiki you can search for " Baranowsky". How to do:
<ctrl> & <F> is the shortcut to open a search box.
Insert the name you are searching for.
Also you can use: translate.google.com
to translate the german page.
Another link for you: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=41276&start=0
Good luck.

Thank you, fastjehu for the information. I still find it curious that Baranowski's name does not appear on any ledger, list or catalogue in connection with the Dachau concentration camp. I cannot help but wonder why. Could it be that there is some fear/superstition connected with his death from an undiagnosed illness that has prevented any acknowledgment of his command at Dachau? Or perhaps his tenure there was too short to merit an official mention? In any case, if half of what was said or written about him is true, his death was hardly an untimely one.

He ist listed in all the 3 links I posted above. It is not a JW fake.
omg i am so distressed.
i have a talk coming up on tuesday, it is the number 3 "abiram.
why opposing god appointed authority is tantamount to opposing god himself"!.
The last sentence ist the morst import to remember.
Maybe you can change it into a question.
So the audience will think (if at all) about the answer

as mentioned in july 15th 2013 watchtower "the apostasy started in the first century and flourished by the fourth century" or words to that effect.. as i was reading ff bruce's "the bible canon" ($14 kindle ver.
on amazon) i was very surprised to read that there are no original nt documents from the first century, just copies of copies of copies of many documents from that period.
apparently the 27 book nt canon was not set until about the fourth century by trinitarian church fathers.
@ Pterist "... just copies of copies of copies of many documents from that period."
I watched this video from Professor Bart Dr. Ehrmann on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfheSAcCsrE
I found this link in another thread here in the forum. For me it was very enlightening.
He explained:
- " just copies of copies of copies of copies of copies..." and
- why the scribes changed there copy and
- why every copy was different from the copy before and
- why in all copies are more differences as words in the bible and
- why he tells his students, to read the gospels horizontally and not only vertically and a lot more.

*** w69 11/15 p. 692 par. 10 “Between-the-Lines” Translations of the Bible ***
However, in the interlinear literal translation of the Greek the English words are not taken bodily or directly from the New World Translation and placed under the appropriate Greek word. No! But under each Greek word is placed its basic meaning, according to its grammatical construction, whether this agrees literally with the New World Translation or not. What we as Bible students should want is what the original Greek text says. Only by getting this basic meaning can we determine whether the New World Translation or any other Bible translation is right or not.

Teri wrongly believed that Jehovah’s approval depended only on the amount of her service to him. (Contrast Mark 12:41-44.)

You have nothing to fear in examining your beliefs by the standard of God’s Word, for if you have the true religion you can only be reassured. And if what you believe is not in keeping with the Bible, then you should welcome the truth, because it leads to eternal life.

*** w11 11/15 p. 29 par. 5 Train Others to Reach Out ***
5 Like Jesus, Christian elders today befriend and help others. They cultivate a warm, close relationship with their fellow believers by taking time to show personal interest in them. While eldersrecognize the importance of confidentiality, they are not secretive. Elders trust their brothers and share with them Scriptural truths they themselves have learned.
