  I do not offend anyone anymore like “I worship the true god, and you worship the devil”

  Absolutely realized my role in this universe. Only one and a brief life. Nothing thereafter. Makes my life more valuable

  No need to hurry up home after work, get ready for the meetings – all to hear a 2 hour Nonsense

  Saturday and Sunday mornings are the most delightful now, as it was in my childhood. A lot of fun whole day.

  No Field service to go and vomit some silly and ridiculous lies, pretending they are true and feel ashamed about it.

  No need to prick my brain with questions like “Why good people don’t accept the Truth”. “Why does god allow suffering”

  A lot more socializing. Wishing people on their Birthdays and Festivals and participating, which gives more Connectivity and happiness

  NO need to validate myself on every actions like “What if this pleases/Displeases Jehovah”

  Laughing off at all the religious ridiculousness of people.

  Yes, to Summarize, a lot more happier.

  since leaving the jws i have become more interested in finding out about other faiths.

  here are a few of my findings.. lds: i just couldnt get my head around the mental gymnastics i would have to do to understand their doctrines and theology.

  i attended their services twice.

  What rating can we give the Bible. R,RR,RRR ?

  i have read somewhere that jephthah's daughter did not really go into temple service but was a victim of ritual sacrifice.

  the bible says that after weeping over her virginity that the maidens would visit her annually.

  how could they visit her if she was killed?.

  A god who kills all the first born of a nation, because the King never listened to him

  A god who wipes out tribe after tribe for silly reasons.

  A god who commands "stoning to death" of a poor guy who picks up sticks on the Sabbath

  A God who Kills 70K people because David took a census

  A god who allowed his own son to be tortured and Killed in a Gory way.

  Why wont the same God accept a Human Burnt Offering ?.

  Yes, I agree as per this title of this thread. We cannot expect a mass Exodus anytime. I believe this because of my conversation with 2 elders last week.

  What ever I brought up in the Conversation.....Child abuse cases, UNO connection, Australian Royal Commission..

  They sum it up in 3 words.. "Its not True" and they refuse to see the evidence when presented.

  Yes, this is called Self-deception out of Willful ignorance.

  There is no way we can make them understand that they are deceiving themselves, unless they take up the courage and clear their mind and start to think open mindedly, as most of us did

  It’s very hard or totally impossible to have meaningful conversation with such fellas.
