Don't fall for the love Bombs that your congregation bestows upon you. Its all fake. And this religion is full of deceit and lies. I had personally experienced this.

Biblical incidents that bothered me.
by EverApostate ini wanted to discuss the (supposed) biblical events that disturbed me a lot when i was a jw.
these incidents were just read and discussed in the kingdom hall as if these are normal and justified, which clearly weren't.
perhaps this led to my awakening.

@stillin
Right. I used to do the same when debating with any other JW or Christians. When I relate a Biblical Event with a similar experience they would provide normal feedback..
As soon as I say its from the Bible, they would go on with the Defensive crap like "God Knows best", "Nothing is evil in Gods Eyes", "Jah will resurrect even if he kills" and so on....

@Rattigan350 Thanks for pointing that out.
Anyway a person killed because of his good intention and action.
I heard from a talk in the KH, that Big J killed him because Uzzah mayhave had bad intentions and BigJ knows best because he is a reader of hearts. Amazing ring masters !!
Also, this fictional incident might have been written to implement implicit obedience.

@My Name is of No Consequence,
I use Big J as I don't want to play by the rules of WT - as if that name is Really Holy and as if it really exists.

What do you think is the origin of Giants and/or Sasquatch?
by The Real Edward Gentry ingenesis says a lot about both pre-flood and post-flood giants.the really big nasty ones drowned in the flood but there were lots of others the israelites had to overcome including the king of basham with his 11 foot iron bed.people nowadays are much smaller and i think its due in part to us losing more and more of adams perfection.
i turn my attention to the animals that went onboard the ark but are as yet undiscovered.
during president knorr's time the panda bear was discovered in a market place in china and eventually an american team tracked them down in the wild.

Understanding Armageddon
by Jayk inso will armageddon be the biblical one we read about or is it probably going to be a government ban on christians that we will perceive as armageddon?

Amazingly, Armageddon is only used once in the Bible and the whole JW world revolves around it. What a fantastic spin and fear mongering by WT

Thanks Everyone. Many valuable points.
I had always tried to read the Bible as a JW, but would feel very disturbed by the passages and stop reading, within a chapter -guaranteed. Would feel guilty for that sometimes. Now I understand I was trying to swallow a whole herd of swine, all alive. And Its normal for a person to throw up, by doing so.
To sum up, if we need to feel good and comfortable, don't Read the Bible.
Any more points, welcome.

Half banana,
Glad to see I wasn't alone.
Also, even as a zealot., I never believed the greatest slaughter of all - "Noahs flood" - ever really happened, That is why I never mentioned that.
