  i ask this because recently physio and i decided to leave everything to our two boys - which meant cutting out our girls completely.. why?

  well, we realised that if we both died (e.g.

  car accident) all four children would be entitled to our estate.

  On Canadian Turkeyday, in October, I may go camping for the long weekend. for US Turkeyday I'll come down to the US and party there.

  I don't have any children, and I really don't care to acknowledge relatives who haven't had much to do with me for the last 20 years. I've been thinking of writing a will, but I haven't found a satisfactory beneficiary yet.

  ok, we've all read/heard this one before and i've asked a question on someone's thread a long time ago that just disappeared.

  by giving the topic its own thread i'm hoping someone can give me the definitive answer............(but i'm not holding my breath!)..

  right, my point is, if we are made in god's image that means we reflect his (good) qualities.

  It seems to me that man has taken some of his own worst qualities, put it all into one imaginary being, and called it god. Love, yeah, it's there I suppose, but it's conditional. Break a simple rule, and you suffer and end up dead over it. Two people eat forbidden fruit, and what happens? Billions of people suffer for thousands of years! That's not reasonable by ANY standard.

  Man created in god's image? NO! We have a little more compassion then that.

  God created in man's image? Maybe, but it's still only a part of the image. The good parts seem to be missing.

  a little log house 1 bed located in a place like arizona (where it is just a bit green somewhere like flagstaff).

  a cat - if i can take care of it .

  a horse (but in arizona they live free so there i wouldn't have to buy one).

  Well, I've been dirt poor, and I've had money as well. But some of the happiest times of my life was when I was poor. Money's nice, but it's nothing if you don't have:

  Love of family and true friends.

  First Christmas

  when we first left the dubs, we celebrated x-mas pretty much straight away, but had no decorations or tree, and only gave gifts to each other.

  for some reason it just seemed wrong to put up decorations and we continued to celebrate this way for about 5 years.

  we decided to put up decorations when it was my daughters 1st x-mas, and have never looked back.

  This will be my first Christmas since leaving the borg, so I'm not sure what I'll do. No one to celebrate it with anyways.

  I'll probably just eat microwavable meat pies, MaCain frozen cake, and drink beer. First I'll have to buy myself a microwave as an xmas gift.
