Then why did you quote a U.S. source that documents what the U.S. administration did? Why would this suprise you in the least? The whole thread is political. I find it amusing that some in the United States only listen to U.S. media. How many people live in the United States vs. the entire rest of the world? Lee, this is not real life. This is the internet; where people do not dare say things to they're faces but will gladly type them out without a second thought. Like it or not, this is what this message board, and any message board is. Not real life, not reality. Just user names, silly avatars, nothing more. Behind them real people are there, but what they choose to reveal about themselves they do, and nothing more. I am sure in real life this 'minimus' is quite an interesting person, normal, and I wouldn't say such things about him, because Minimus is NOT the same person here, like it or not.

I believe that all countries should adopt the US constitution as the foundation of law , it is a fine document that grants people civil rights and a free conscience in religious beliefs .
Well, if my country did that I'd move elsewhere. You see, where we come from, the United States and they're documents mean nothing to us, and I know this is just the internet, but I find your comments outrageous.

The United States should deal with it's current problems and resolve them. There are so many that they've started in they're own country and abroad that I think the president should be focusing all his manpower on those issues; not a sovergn nation that has the right to believe and not believe whatever the good'ol' boys in the United States think. It actually just disgusts me.

Even if we should paint a wrong picture of the reality, we have good reasons to do this confidently. First of all because Paul did the same thing, secondly the instructions of the Watchtower Society who is appointed to instruct us concerning the way we should act.
Let us keep in mind the judicial power is relative (Romans 13:1), while the Watchtower Society has an absolute position because their regulations are described as indispensable to achieve our salvation.

Perhaps this is a case of the notorious "small print". The might for instance have been a brother that needed some material that only could be found in the library of the United Nations. What could be more simple than filling out some forms and becoming member of the library without realising this also meant membership of the complete organisation? How often did you read all conditions of insurances or certain purchases?
