  Women look nicer in other towns

  when you travel to other cities, do you find that women or men look nicer or more sexy than in your home town?

  maybe it's because we see new butts faces, that give this illusion.. so, is the grass greener elsewhere?

  Hey SP................................good question.

  My 1st husband was an alcoholic. He went from having everything to ending up with nothing. Even lost his life, actually, threw it away, he committed suicide.

  Alot of people feel that alcoholism is determined by amount. But it really has more to do with the effect.

  A person can have 5 drinks a day and not be an alcoholic. Another may get drunk once a month and be alcoholic. It is more about the effect drinking has on the person and those around him/her, rather than how much or how often they drink.

  There is alot of information, books, support groups and AA for getting a clear and correct understanding about alcoholism. There are many misconceptions about this disease and some may be misinformed and give incorrect advice or opinions.

  I recommend going to experts, to people who have been or have dealt with alcoholics. They know better than anyone. And do some reading.

  Ravyn.................I just wanted to respond to your comments.

  if she thinks the child abuse in the Catholic Church is the problem of all Catholics since it did not happen to each of them personally?

  NO.....................that rule applies only to JWs desperate to defend the indefensible. All catholics are bad for condoning sexual abuse, they share in the sin!.........dubs can be forgiven for accepting human imperfection in their religion, that's mercy!

  I asked her, 'if satan was behind the lies the media was spreading about the righteous WTS...............were all the reports about sexual abuse in the catholic and other churches JUST lies from satan also??????????' She had to say 'yes, probably'.

  And does she treat that issue that way when she is out in service and comes across a Catholic?

  I was horrified to see that show and I wished I hadn't but on the other
  hand, I think It was good that I did cause now i'm prepared for when
  people may bring it up in the field service

  She is going to use satan's influence on the media to prepare her defence of the borg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Twisted hey???????????

  NO....................she wouldn't treat that issue the same way with a catholic as she would with the borg. She knew exactly what happened in my family's case, yet made excuses for the borg, backpeddling. She still goes out witnessing telling people that the borg is the only place to be, that the dubs are better than others, they are the only true religion..............while knowing full well what is going on in the borg!

  You know, once when I said to her that god would allow all the crap about the borg to come out , she said god would not let that happen because it would prevent people from coming in! As if god would want people to bring their kids into a pedophile paradise.

  Anyhow................this all proves how sick dubs are. Their thinking is unhealthy..............cultish.

  Wearing my beautiful Italian shoes.......................you see, my job doesn't allow for good clothes, i wear a white lab coat and steel capped shoes. The only time I use to wear my good shoes was at the meetings. Now I have to wait for hubby to take me out.

  I can dream..........................lol

  Yes Pistoff, the same phrases I used too. Scarey!

  Shotgun.................the 'Sunday' show covered sexual abuse within the organization in Australia. They interviewed victims, elders, x elders and x dubs. It was very powerful and caused alot of upset amongst the dubs. Hubby and I never went back to another meeting after that.

  Thank goodness we have moved out of that mind-controlling cult. When you read something like that letter you realise how lucky we are!

  What are the biggest motivating remarks by the Watchtower ???

  you know, you could almost compare the watchtower to tony robbins, with there constant motivating do more service, attend all meetings.

  what will the watchtower be using to motivate the current members to keep this crap going ???.

  there is no where else to go in this world.

  We are very close to the
  end and we can only expect life to become almost unbearable at some stage

  That sort of reasoning could only motivate one to suicide......................if there is nowhere else to go than the borg!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  And more unbearable than what the WTS has made it, can it ever be MORE unbearable??????????????

  I go to the family and say "SSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH they're here!"

  You see, hubby and I are faders and we want to stay that way as long as possible so we can keep talking to dubs when we see them. But because we have told dubs things about the borg we expect the elders will turn up here at some stage to 'sort us out'. So the longer we can postpone it the better!

  But ssssssssshhhhhhhhhh, don't tell them ok!
