"We are also found false witnesses of God"
by Noumenon in1 corinthians 15: 15 says "morever, we are also found false witnesses of god, because we have borne witness against god that he raised up the christ, but whom he did not raise up if the dead are really not to be raised up.".
jw's are guilty of being false witnesses to god in a similar manner as paul states above, because of their insistence that jesus was enthroned as king in heaven in 1914. they need to ditch this unconvincing teaching propped up by it's dodgy chronology.
it's high time to realise that there was no invisible 'parousia' that started in that year, and that christ's parousia is still a future event, to commence when he sits on his white horse and goes into battle at armageddon..

added thought.... perhaps God does come to some in the form of aliens... who knows... reality has changed in six thousand years..... perhaps man no longer needs guilt and fear, and crucifixtion, to comprehend God.
Perhaps we have evolved or grown, to a point where we will no longer have to put a FACE on the Dweller of the Heavens..... (notice in my posts, that this is how I often refer to "God" I no longer feel the need to worship "The God-figure" but I do feel an extreme connection to that wich dwells in the great beyond.... that wich is greater than myself.
I feel the wind... but I do not need to know what you call it... to accept its prescence.

When you say "truth" you refer to (i assume) reality. What is reality? What is reality for one may not be for another. **
example(but not relevant) For the rich, reality may mean that they can go where they choose. Hop on a plane to China one day, France the next. In thier reality the world is quite a small place. For the poor the world is a much bigger place. Reality is perception. It is not reality for a street hobo, to go around the world in eighteen hours.
now... you have heard alot of talk about "matters of conceince" on this site. It is said that Concience is the Eye of God within man. If that is true, then "God" has given us each a different level of conceince. What is right for one person, or group of people, may not be made to fit another. I mean, do you think that those starving in Africa, are concerned with wether or not it is a sin, to eat pork? It would be easy for a muslim in America, to consider eating pork "an unclean act" but his truth or reality is not the same.
That is all I am saying here. What is right for you... may not be right for me. Perhaps the bible is the word of God... I cannot say... but perhaps the Koran is also the word of God. Perhaps God comes to man in whatever form he is most capable of accepting. For Christians he comes in the form of rules, and eternal judgement, for the pagans he comes in the form of acceptance of all things. I dont know ... I am not claiming to be correct.... this is just my way of seeing it. YOU CANNOT STRETCH ONE TRUTH TO FIT EVERY MAN. Every conflict in history proves my theory.
** I am not trying to argumentative here... perhaps I am, myself, trying to explain things in my own mind. To articulate a thought I suppose. Of course, having been raised a JW... perhaps I just came out psycho and should be admitted.

I grew up in North Carolina and Virginia... My wife is BRITISH.......It tuk may a wall to leyrn anglesh (says it took me a while to learn english) But we communicate just fine in the dark....

My fantasy involves one elder in particular, and about ten feet of good strong rope. I would tie him to the back of the Saturn, and take a lil joy ride through a cow field. I would just keep yelling out the window "Hey! you gonna keep telling my mother she shouldnt see me? huh?" "I say, I cant hear you... well are ya or not?"
but I am really a very peaceful man. I dont think I could ever actually hurt someone..... but you did say Fantasy.

When you are admitted to hospital... (a suggestion)
by ozziepost inon another thread, princess has raised a very important point for all ex-dubs and fadeaways.apparently when you register and fill in the religious affiliation blank they give that info to the elders if they ask.
if you are a "repeat customer" i.e.
you're booking in at a hospital that you've previously been admitted to, there will be pre-existing details on their database about you.

True... but I was assuming of course in my statement that you already accept the bible as the word of god.
I dont know where this belief would leave documents like the Koran (spelling?) or all the other ancient and wise writings throughout the ages. Christianity is but one of many beliefs. It is also one of the few that teach that It alone is the path to god.
*** mind you though.... I am not here to change your mind or beliefs. I just make a bunch of opinionated statements that may or may not, have legitimate grounds to stand on. But hey, cant help that I was raised a JW.... it is the "nature of the beast" I suppose.
I myself semi-follow the druidic structure of belief. I do not believe that one truth can be made to fit all. Each man must find his own path to God. It is the only conflict I have with Christianity in General... they would have their "truth" be stretched to fit everyone. They teach that they alone have the path to the Dweller of the Heavens, and that all others are condemned.
