  Blues Brother.... what exactly do you find so offensive about my post that makes you wish you were a mod? The use of my profanity?
  
  If you were to look through my post history, you will find that I have NEVER directly cursed at someone until today. His comments are the ones that should be deleted. If his are, then I will ammend mine as well.
  
  I am SICK and TIRED of being lumped in with the negative mass here in the US simply because I am American. His comments were absolutly uncalled for. My reply to Gerrard emote exactly what I think of him.

  And I agree with you CHL. The only thing I really see wrong in that picture is that people were not just walking out with things they needed. there was a kid pushing out a "Grave Digger Power Wheels" out the door near the end of the vid.
  
  The cops were shopping and seeing what I could that was in their cart, none of it looked like food to me.
  
  Its simply people taking advantage of the situation for a profit or just to satisfy personal wants.

  I completely agree with freedom.
  
  Too many people on this board and in the world are quick to blame Bush for everything that goes on.
  
  Even though he is the president, there are still a TON of people involved in making decisions... even of things in this magnitude.
  
  I hate saying this, but it seems more and more that presidents today are more of a figure head than anything else.
  
  If you MUST point fingers and lay blame. Start with New Orleans.
  
  First start with the citizens, the city called a MANDATORY evacuation to get out. They didnt say "Well... if you think you can ride it out feel free to stay". They said "Get the f*ck out".
  
  I'm sure people didnt do so for various reasons, but thats their decision.
  
  Also... when help does finally arrive. DONT F*CKING SHOOT AT THEM! Its counter productive!
  
  Second, the blame lies with CITY officials. They KNEW for a long time that something like this could happen yet they did not upgrade their leevys (which at the time could only hold up to a Cat3 hurricane) to be able to withstand something like this.
  
  Also, for not being better prepared with an evacuation plan to make sure that everyone that wanted out could get out. The National Guard should have been called in BEFORE the hurricane hit to assist with the evacuation, not just afterwards to help maintain order.
  
  I have heard from a friend who lives near the area that the city was providing busses to get out of town. All you had to do was show up at the mall in the morning and off you went. I am checking on how true that statement is and will get back to you.
