It will be very interesting to see what comes up on jw.org about this. They will have to come out and say something about this. It's just to big a fish to fry. -

Getting JWs To Think By Using Their Own Tactics On Them.
by Island Man ini've been thinking that an effective way to expose the idiocy and vacuousness of jwism is to use it right back on them when they come to your door.
say you're a fader and you've moved to the territory of a different circuit where the jws there don't know your jw background.
when they come knocking at your door, just put on the jw mindset and pretend to yourself that the jws at the door are not jws but members of a "false religion.".

The Bones are starting to Show
by Slidin Fast inthe latest phase of the uk charity commission case included this:.
subsequent to the opening of the inquiry, in a letter dated 10 july 2014, mr cook of the watchtower informed the respondent that the disfellowshipping hearing for mr rose had in fact been carried out by the elders of a different congregation, so the charity had played no role in that process.
mr cook (who is the in-house solicitor at the watchtower) later elaborated on his own letter in a witness statement for the tribunal.

Sort of sounds similar to the other child abuse cases. One of loop holes technicalities, and out right it wasn't me. I'm not surprised about the deletion of the DOs. Wt if you read this I hope it comes back and bites you on the arse. -

In the congregation I was in before I left, only one of the pioneers was under 50. I think a lot of time wasting goes on. I must admit I only done an hour or so just to keep them off my back. I hated it.
I absolutly believe if Wt has any hope of been able to turn their present situation around, they have to have a greater presence on the Internet (and I'm not talking invisible one here). I always use this example. Would you buy a car if all the reviews of it on the Internet were bad, and the only positive one was from the car manufacturer itself. Well if you wouldn't buy a car like that then don't expect someone to choose a religion like that. Gee I shouldn't be giving WTBTS such good advice.

"meet mormons worldwide"
by stuckinarut2 incheck out this link!.

can you imagine if jws had something like this??.

Jose you were a clown to join the JWs and an even bigger one to join the Mormons. I believe the Mormons are even more in la la land than the JWs are. -

When you were Hard-Core JW, did Opponents Screaming or Filming you help your Exit?
by PokerPlayerPhil inall of us are upset in different ways, some of us are ferociously angry because, let's face it, it's our fault!
i had many clues they were lying about our religion but i failed to see through them because of the pain of admitting we got conned and family pressure from peers stopped me from making a courageous choice.
when i read about people who confronted the elders and won their judicial committees (even though the jw elders df'ed them) my heart goes out to their courage, their amazingly stronger than i will ever be.

I think angry apostates just reinforced to me that I had the truth. What other religion is been do badly spoken against. In my opinion and case direct apostacy never works. There has to be an external trigger point (e.g an unsatisfactory answer, hurt feelings) that causes one to go searching. That's when the house of cards tumbles. -

Religion is a business in the God commodity market
by Brokeback Watchtower inbottom line money not god.
to grow a religion you need money and suckers who fall for your particular line of logic.. take away it's money to take away it's power.
the ceos of the watchtower corporation are running the religion/business into the ground because they can't make good business decisions and are caught in a awful web of delusions of grander and blind to the realities of the real world.

Yes I couldn't agree more. I recently went to a pentecostal church service, and money was very much the topic of the service. But on saying that they did do a lot for the community. It will be interesting to see if the great 8 are willing to let it crash and burn or weather they will try and do something about it. -

In all fairness I have been to Bali when i was a JDub and it Is pretty corrupt place. The locals will try and rob you anyway they can. When I was there I had 3 attempts made to pick my pockets. There were also a lot of foreigners in the cong to. I was told that great discernment had to be used. The locals are just swallowing it all. BTW some of these foreigners were married to locals. Great place to visit but man your gotta have your wits about you. Unfortunately these people went so discerning. -

The witnesses got away with covering up another molestation case
by recovering inhttp://www.webpronews.com/jehovahs-witnesses-get-only-partial-dismissal-in-child-molesting-case-2015-04.
i find it extremely interesting the comment of one of the posters who is studying with the witnesses.. frank j karasienski 3 days ago .
individuals are flawed..... looking at this article it really makes it look like an organization is hiding the situation.

As I'm not DA/DF yet. Out of all the witnesses that i mentioned this to i couldn't find one who said " I feel sorry for those victims and I hope they get the help and closure they deserve. I don't think the above person realizes that a few years ago with the threat of been disfellowshipped for slander made the reporting of sex abuse to the authorities almost impossible. I also don't think he/she realizes if they go around voicing this opinion they will very quickly find out what we openly discuss here. -
