other religions are preaching about jesus, some wear the crucifixion, other's wear shirts with fishes but we wear shirts with jw.org!
no other religion has our courage!.

by Trailer Park Pioneer inthis is going around the kingdom halls now, i thought it was a hoax but are not all the end time dates produced by the organization some hoax or con?
the reason why the end did not come in 1975 was the watchtower society had not put eve's creation in their equation.
i was told when we had a "meet and greet" if "we knew the date of eve's creation we would know the year jehovah was going to destroy the earth.. it's been 40 years since 1975, can you believe it's been 40 years since "stay alive till 1975!"?

I think it was just a whole lot of things that led to 3 people been murdered. A system that clearly had faults. Other than husband number 1 been disfellowshipped because he disagreed with WT over the 1975 incident, he was a relatively nice guy who took good care of his family. Elders who clearly shouldn't of been put in a situation. They were ill equipped for the situation which led to poor advise. Husband number 2 who clearly had psychological issues, and the systems that were in place we're ineffective in been able to stop him. Then we have a women and 2 kids who were stuck between all this and in the end paid with their lives. -

Aude = I guess I must of just got to see it before they closed it down. Such a shame. It was from Canada. True story of a witness women who separated from her fist husband because of Apostacy. Other than been an apostate he was a descent good guy. Then she moves onto so called witness husband number two. Usual story of he had the label, but he was a violent abusive man who is interfering with her daughter. Usuall story of bad advise been given by untrained elders who tell her she can't get a divorce. She endures endures, then can't take it any longer and separates from him. Made to feel 2nd class in congregation. Husband number 2 then comes back for a visit murdering her and her 2 kids. -

truly frustrated! !
by crazyguy1 ini have faded away but the wife and kids still go.
when i stopped others in the hall stepped up to help indoctrination the kids.
anything i say and tell the kids they don't want to listen too because of course its contrary to what their told at the lovely hall where their friends go.

Reverse Shunning
by exwhyzee insometing happened yesterday that i thought might be noteworty enough to relate to you here.. mrs. eyz and i were invited to my new boss's home for his annual end of summer party.
it's a pretty big deal....his is a name known locally (i'll call him j.r.) a really nice interesting guy who's held a number of high level and politically connected jobs.
there was to be music, dancing, wine and reprotedly lots of well dressed, well educated, well to do and influential people (oh yes...and us) in attendance.. anyway we thought we'd make an occasion out of it and got ourselves spiffed up which involved new outfits and extra mirror time before we left home.

They came, they saw, they left...
by NVR2L8 induring the holiday period one if my wife's brothers had planned a vacation in our area.
they drove about 6 hours to a condo they leased for a week to celebrate their wedding anniversary with their married son and daughter.
they called my wife to let her know they were coming to visit us since they were 2 hours away.
