  on thursday of this week world wide work money will again be spent to protect a pedophile.

  in addition it will also be spent to pay money to a disfellowshipped person in order to find a way to prevent them from assisting the court case of abuse survivors.

  Ok, I will put in my 2 cents too. AlanF, Marvin Shilmer, Hillary Step, are among the ones I check almost everyday to see if they have any new posts. Many thanks to them and others. I have read many of their posts on this board as well as other boards and appreciate the work they put into their writings.

  after reading cruzenheart's post on the letter about her father, and the treatment he received from the co, william osbeck, and the elders of his congregation, it brought back my own memories of this particular co and his treatment of people.

  it was 1995 and one of the hardest years of my life.

  in february of that year, i learned i was pregnant with our fifth child.

  in a press conference this morning, jehovah god announced his intention to remove himself from association with the watchtower organization, citing "irreconcilable differences" and "personality clashes" with senior witness leadership.. "they kept on bugging me, taking my ideas and then twisting them, and then hogging all the credit!

  With regards to Daniel 4: it would be ok I guess if those 7 "times" referred to a period of time known as a "year" (and as we all know years averaged 365 1/4 days and was even so in Daniel's day). I would have no problem with that. But the WTS doesn't teach that. It teaches it was 7 years of months, but not 7 years of months conforming to the Jewish calendar (which was periodically adjusted to compensate for the lost 5 days in using 30 day months). NO! They were ALL lunar months! So the "calender" intepreted by Fred Franz was not only one that isn't used in modern times, but wasn't even used by the Jews in ancient times! As this phony "ancient" calendar was using to predict a modern date using a modern calendar!

  You lost me on this one Farkel. Care to elaborate? Thanks.
