Happy 3 years Crumpet.
never one to blow her own trumpet (yeah right) i thought i'd come in and thank you all for three years of entertainment, life changing information, reunions with old friends and the making of so many new ones.. i'm glad i came here.. (wonders if what ip sec said on the trevor gate thread about this board being so nice three years ago was a dig at me....).
.
oh yes and happy anniversary to fullofdoubtnow in advance for 24th october.
You've made me laugh, you've made me cry......
Happy 3 years Crumpet.
given the faked linda death and a recent, personal friend who died...i think it's appropriate to gather our thoughts on our own death & funeral.. first, if you have a will please make sure it puts down your final funeral wishes.
i think all would roll over in the casket if our family members gave us a jw funeral.
i could see them doing this as a last effort to make us right with jah.. in my case, i'd like you to plant a tree/plant (even an anti-mosquito plant would do) in your yard.
I want to be made into a diamond.
with the shit going down on this board as of late i'd like to post something really good that happened to me lately.
i got my brother jw brother back.
back in 2001 of this same month i posted about letting jw relatives go because i got tired of the pain of hoping those relationships would be restored when it seemed impossible.
I'm really happy for you Jer
i went into my profile and there it was.
.
4 yrs since i joined!!.

WOOHOO! Congrats ya'll! And why does Ross get all the credit for setting trends???
Any idea at all about when??? We were contemplating visiting in December......
being that i like the looks of the christmas lights and that i have had 20 years of not being able to set them up, i have already taken the step of setting up the christmas tree.
on it are huge amounts of lights--12 sets of c6 led bulbs (they come 60 to a set) plus a set of 70 miniature leds for the top region.
i ran out of c6 bulbs about halfway up the tree (not to worry, i have the other 6 sets on order and they should be arriving today).. there are some things to think about when setting up a holiday tree out of "season".
We usually put ours up the week after Thanksgiving.
*sigh* i was seeing someone for several months, but it is not working out.
so i went back to my only way of meeting men thus far--online dating sites.
i have had some really cool experiences, but i think i am getting burnt out....if i read one more email from a guy that reads "u r booteful and i wud luv to chat with u and then maybe we go out and eat" (or my personal favorite today--"you are eye-popping"--i am busty and the current picture reveals that little fact) i think i will puke!
I've had good, bad and indifferent experiences with online dating. It's easier to connect with people online than in person but isn't necessarily a quick fix in finding a relationship or perfect match. I think that is something some people perceive it to be and that is why they get a bit jaded on it. Hate to break it to em but you still have to wade thru all the frogs to get to your prince.
As regards to pictures, use one that conveys who you are. If you are comfortable with showing cleavage normally then why wouldn't you show it in a profile picture, regardless of the feedback you get from men who apparently can't get past it. Like someone else stated if nothing else it helps weed out the floss you wouldn't want to date anyway. Thankfully there are some men who "get" the idea that a woman can be comfortable with her body and without making them a slut. Unfortunately you have to also deal with men who don't get it in the process which as I know can be irritating and creepy at times.
Decki been taking more "neck" pictures???
i could make comments about her being a dumb blonde but i won't, do to the fact that my own daughter is blonde, pretty, and intellegent.
but this girl and her school system where she supposedly got an education should be ashamed.
if this were my daughter or one of my students..........i would hang my head!
She screwed up. It happens when you are under pressure sometimes. Hers just happens to be national now.
BTW what part of TEEN do some of you not understand? ie your comments are inappropriate.
MISS TEEN USA® candidates must be at least 15 and under 19 years of age by September 1st in the year they compete in the national competition.
