Really? That's only 7 hours (assuming an hour lunch)? Not too shabby...looking for PC support reps down there???

subject shoulda tipped you people off!.
couple of weeks back, i was busy winding up my evening at a gay nightclub near my home in johannesburg, when across the room i notice this drop-dead-gorgeous woman sitting there with her obviously gay friend.
so i stare at her a bit, get some eye-contact going, and i reckoned i was making some decent progress!

Now, now, SYN. You have no chance to survive. Make your time.

OOOOoooohhhh...DE....now you have shown me the light! [8>]
Oh, wait, that makes no sense at all.
So, you are saying the overriding goal of a demon is to make good christians into atheists? (Since 'their work is already done with them')
Why would it be reported they torture them in their sleep and (sometimes) kill them? Wouldn't that make the christians more drawn to their god for protection?
Wouldn't it be better to just leave them alone? I mean, if they don't ever see any evidence of supernatural beings, won't they start questioning their beliefs? But, if the demons kept haunting them, it just reinforces their christian teachings.
If, on the other hand, demons are just generally evil and enjoy torturing humans, you'd think the 'helpless' atheists would all be dead by now at demon hands, since they have no divine protection.
You have a problem here, DE.

well at 29 years old, after a lifelong relationship/belief in/association with a higher power i called god, here i am very close to taking an athiestic or agnostic approach to the rest of my life.
it really hit me the other day although my doubts have been there but i just have been forcing myself to ignore them because i was afraid to give up that religious part of me because its all that i have ever been and i was afraid of the unknown.
but i realized after getting through another one of those weeks from hell that it makes no difference how much i pray or how much i believe.
I could see that my front right tire was completely hanging over the edge without support
Well, let's see, if you were braking, the weight of the car would be pushing down on the forward wheels. One wheel goes over the edge....the nose would drop and the body of the car would catch on the edge. That would be the sudden stop, I'd reckon.
Or, maybe, the wheels got just enough friction to finally stop.
But, believing 'god' intervened on your behalf begs the question of why 'god' doesn't intervene when bad things happen to other people.

dear everyone,.
you may known that previously, this discussion forum owned by big ray, he is a faithful witness to watchtower, he sold his forum then formed some other similar forums for others, who faithful to the society.
however, he now seems has a problem with society.
I'm just wondering about the cost - bandwidth isn't cheap, and we aren't exactly a quiet lot.

Which brings up an interesting question....
How the hell is Simon financing this site? Is he actually breaking even, or are we sucking his pocketbooks dry every month?

iunderstand from a recent watchtower/awake that elders ask 100 questions before u are allowed to b baptized?.
what questions?
Yes, answers accompany the questions as well as quoted and cited scriptures in support of the answers. Again, there are 130 main questions in a 4 part series, and 69 optional questions.
Obviously, however, you (don't) get to see the answers when they are going over the questions.
I'm actually amazed, reading over that list, how many of the questions I no longer no the answer to according to JW teachings. It's only been, what, 7 years since I was baptized?

what did you find the most boring book to read in the bible?.
its a hard choice as there's so many to choose from but i have to go with psalms.flipping nora it take for ever to read, is written in some incomprehensible way, and is about nothing!
OMG, I actually had to do a Bible reading on one of those 'begat' lists.
Seriously - 10 or 12 verses of nothing but yadda-begat-yadda, blah-begat-blah, etc.
How do you write a talk about THAT??
