Interesting read, very controversial
by New Castles inread something today, that i thought was very interesting.
it screams in the face of thousands of years of christian belief.
it expresses the authors belief that jesus's sacrifice was in vain.. "if i owe a person money, and cannot pay him, and he threatens to put me in prison, another person can take the debt upon himself, and pay it for me.

Can elders perform marriage ceremonies outside of the hall? Can they use the JW outline? What rules must they follow? What if the two getting married are studies?
That is what happened to me. We were both studying, we were also living together, still the P.O married us in our home. Wish I would have gotten out of that relationship instead.

i heard from someone some years ago that when he was in a psychiatric hospital(now closed)that there was a jw who was a religious maniac in with him(he once pulled a coat rack off in one moment of religious mania).. were there any religious maniacs in your congregation?

I am sorry but I agree with Naru.... We dont go to the KH and take the mic to call everybody there idiots....
It gets downright aggrivating to hear the same crap from overly righteous publishers who elevate themselves above everbody else because they think they have the truth. As boa stated on another thread they should go take it to the householders... who IMO dont know any better!

i didnt go, but i know (because of a call from an elder about two weeks ago) that they are going to visit me this week.

Have you ever wondered why the majority of the people in the organization dont even have a good education, why they are cleaning toilets and doing night watchman jobs??????? Really go back to the hall on Sunday and ask everybody what they do and why, then consider yourself the idiot......

So, principally, one could say that Jesus makes the disfellowshipping arrangment MORE THAN NECESSARY.
That is one of the most hateful statements I have ever heard a Jehovah's witness say. Jesus ate with sinners.
