  i was going through withdrawal symptons.

  haven't been able to log on since 9:30 this morning.

  i had to put on a jwd patch on my arm to get me through the morning.

  always at the kingdom hall, you hear blah blah blah, satan did this and satan did that instead of humans taking the responsibility of our own actions.

  he gets blamed for everything, no wonder he's so pissed off!

  Prince retiring some songs

  i just got an e-mail update from summerfest (big music festival in milwaukee wisconsin) announcing that prince was going to be one of their acts.

  apparently to boost sales they also gave this tidbit:this could be the last chance to see him perform some of his most well known hits before retiring those songs from his live line-up.. .

  hmmm... are the elders putting pressure on him?

  I'll never forget when this happened to me in the store. My son was carrying on and this nasty lil ole lady was "tut tutting" behind me as I desparately tried to keep him under control. She finally turns to the man behind her saying "what that child needs is a good spanking". I Broke. I turned around and very angrily said "AFTER 100'S OF DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS, 1000'S & 1000'S OF DOLLARS IN MEDICAL BILLS & PSYCHOLOGIST BILLS AND 10S OF 1000S OF HOURS RESEARCHING - I FINALLY FOUND THE F****KING CURE FOR AUTISM IN A GROCERY STORE". The man behind her clapped

  i have posted as each step of my exiting has brought new stresses into my life.

  you have all been awesome in your support.

  i know i still have a ways to go but many of the hardest steps have been undertaken... and i have an interview for a new job, so my working with a guy who is a jw, might be taken out of my environment so i can go somewhere that is not only closer to home (short commute) but also no one will know i was ever a jw.

  Are You a Taker Not a Giver

  many posting here once would not accept a blood transfusion or give blood because of the wts doctrine.. having left that doctrine behind and being willing to "accept" a blood transfusion, are you willing (if able medically) to donate blood?.

  if willing to accept an organ transplant, are you willing (if medically able) to donate an organ, either as a live donor or when deceased?.

  if yes, to both questions, do you donate blood regularly?

  I havent done either, but am going to try this year. I just barely got the gut to register to vote this year. I think the blood and organ issue is a more important to resolve first. I guess I didnt think of it sooner.

  What else that was embarrasing was when talking about movies at work, and i hadnt seen it because it was pg13 or R. Here I was a grown woman and not being able to see normal kick ass movies because of being under WTS control.

  The most humiliation i have ever experienced as a witness was at work after 911 everybody wore flag pins at work and I was THE ONLY ONE who didnt. I was more than embarrased I was ashamed.

  Yes, mostly for the clothes! Ick those long dresses.

  But i got my revenge when I was fixing to leave I wore a short dress to give a talk. All the brothers in the front seat told my ex that they could see everything! I guess they were looking!
