If man evolved?
by tornapart ini know anyone who believes in evolution is going to say that there is no 'if' about it.
however.... if man evolved over hundreds of thousands of years ago, why were there only about 200-300 million people alive 2,000 years ago?
surely there'd have been many billions by then?.

Bible Writers not just ignorant "goat herders"
by applehippie inreally, the bible was written by nothin' but goat herders?
i don't post much but this does irk me.
yes a few may have been shepherds or fisherman, but a fair amount were far more educated and were professionals in their fields of occupation.

I'd like to know if there is a real medical reason why a woman would be unclean longer after birthing a girl instead of a boy? Maybe they figured it out back then and the wisdom has been lost. This could be very important as I have several friends who are expecting.

Yes Harry! So why did they not get interaction with god is my question. The only possible excuse is that they lived at same time and were another race. That's why WT says it. They were so similar to us, and yet ignored by god.

The ancients were so wise. When a man who was WAY smarter than all YOU GUYS give them credit for, just couldn't help himself and raped the girl he saw in town, it was decreed so very wisely that he should....... MARRY HER!!! Happy day for her. Plus he had to pay her dad 250 bucks. Of course she needed to have screamed loud enough in the city to be heard or else she was punished for being raped and not fighting hard enough. The ancients had beards, and robes, and could talk to each other. Even talk to kings! In palaces! They even bought and sold stuff and sailed ships. Just be careful lest the wise ancient be horny. Then his goat herder roots took over.

Sooner7nc LOL
I think that the word to describe them should start with "Goat" and end with "er" but with a completely different word in the middle. Let the reader use discernment.

Well one of them sat in the dirt and cooked his food over poop for decades. I don't know if he was a shepherd but that's pretty ignorant.

Lost. You said this.
orn apart we are thinking along the same lines.
Look at immigration, as an example.
A few families from a different race move into an area. They breed, say 6 kids each, those kids at 18 start breeding, 6 kids each, the numbers soon grow.
I have asked this question here, and I am going to ask it again. Lets see a show of hands.
How many of you on here, actually have qualifications in this field ?
Uni, degree's, experience of working in 'the field' ?
How many of you here actually have any experience of farming, animal husbandry, breeding stock (any animal ) ?
How many of you have any experience in environmental sustainability, bio-diversity and eco-systems ?
Anyone ?
Or are you all home schooled getting your information from book's/internet, other people's research, thoughts, ideas, theories, ?
Me:
Why you require such levels of interaction is beyond me. But here goes.
first off you made a claim that is apples and oranges. You likened immigrants with giant families creating a large community quickly to a time when mortality rates were horrendous and people lived to 30 years old. There was no society to speak of and food was a rare thing. I could go on but I hope you see the difference in your comparison.
Then you went on a rant about all the posters who differ than you not knowing what they are talking about and not being credentialed.
if you had skipped the rant and annoying attack on posters here not knowing what the were talking about no one would have jumped on you. YOU are the one attacking and being hostile. You make these blanket statements and insinuate rude things then wonder why WE are hostile? Sigh.

It is. I want to reemphasize that everyone gets an opinion and can express it. It's just sometimes the arguing from a position where only one side is known that could be annoying. I was a born in and very faithful. No one believed creation more than me, till I took the time to investigate the other side.

I actually enjoy the debate, especially if the person is searching and actually cares. I do get tired of certain attitudes. I'll describe the attitude that annoys me.
First, it's important to add this disclaimer. It's okay to disagree. We don't all have to see eye to eye. I respect your right to have your own opinion. But, I get very annoyed when someone hasn't researched a topic and then vigorously states their opinion, even arguing about it. I think we all have the obvious right to have an opinion. A d even to give whenever you want. But, not to argue from an uninformed position. Arguing should be reserved for after you have looked I to both sides of an issue And still feel you are right. It's annoying to have someone make false statements and argue from a wrong starting premise, and defend themselves ardently. It's okay to do that, when and if you have all the facts. You can't watch a whack job on YouTube or parrot other one sided and uneducated catch phrases if you have not done true research.

By the way, I googled "Neanderthal average age". It took five seconds. I found the article read it and posted it for you in about 6 minutes. The answers are easily available to anyone who cares enough to know.
