I just sent an email to the law office stating that they need to request a personal copy of the elders book or they will not be exposed to the true rules of the WTBTS. I hope they decide to make an adjustment because if they see a personal copy of this book it will be far more damaging.

When I was an elder I remember every elders meeting with the C.O. was packed full of updates. As a amatter of fact they stated they made the margins larger so that we could easily add notes and updates.
In regards to Juducial Committees alone the pages are laced with items. My last elders school we were told to no longer seek to give people ways to avoid punishment. Then a 30 minute diatribe on how to administer justice etc...
What is worse is the fact that they always have you write in the book, see letter dated blah blah blah. This is the stuff she will not see.
I am going to scribe an email to this woman stating that retrieving a copy of a local congregation elders book will have a ton more references to letters that alter the material the book says.

I just found the article and I am appaulled.
1. I am only 37 but since I was a pretty I KNOW of sisters who decided to remarry since the could not be with their original mate. Imagine how they will now fell knowing that had they waited there is now a possibility that they could have been reunited. This is freaking stupid.
Worse still every argument they make to explain why we can now think the converse... Every thing they say has been discussed for years already so this is dumb and it is pathetic.
They also never say they were wrong or could have been wrong. They just act as if it is OK to make this change. This upsets me and I wish that no one would have brought this to my attention because I am that angry

i haven't been on here long but i found this site a couple days ago and quickly realised it had a lot of posts by people going through similar experiences as me.
i read some of the answers and it helped relieve some inner anguish i've been carrying since everything i came clean to my parents about everything i've been reading about.. .
i just have been going through a rough patch right now; that might be an under or overstatement depending on your own personal experiences with this kind of stuff.

i have no respect for the governing body of jehovah's witnesses(tm) as i consider them to be wicked men.. having said that, is there any proven dirt on them that could expose them for the critters they are?.

Is firsthand eye-witness proof or do you need documentation. I know a ton of people who saw or heard things... I saw and heard a number of things with my own eyes but they would be more along the lines of character flaws.
