Will be interesting to see an article that point directly that ISLAM is a false RELIGION. Perhaps one needs to see the closing paragraphs of the chapters that touched on Islam as contained in Mankind search for God. Whenever the brochures or tracts are produced concerning Islam it is always about seeking COMMON GROUNDS rather than outright condemnation. I don't think that can be said of Buddhism or other religions.

by snare&racket ini've discussed this before but not in this context alone.. i remember being about 14 years old, 1994 and starting a study in the uk with a charming muslim from the congo.
he was a very pleasant middle aged guy with a big family, two wives, always the most hospitable.
at the time the watchtower had a book on many religions, a thick red book called 'mankind's search for god' so i would read and discuss the section on islam with him.. interestingly, but not surprising, many details they had were wrong about islam and he would explain how and correct me.

by Sad-u-see inlet's see, wt is "banned" in china.
the wt preaches that reaching everyone on the planet is so important, yet they barely have a footprint in china.
if saving lives was so important, why do they not aggressively proselytize in china?

The same ORGANIZATION that said the ROMAN CATHOLIC claim of being the only AGENCY OF HUMAN SALVATION is FASLE and that the ROMAN Catholic is a FALSE RELIGION. That same organization cannot be TRUE since the same CRITERIA used to LABEL the roman Catholic as false is what the same organization preach and do.
Last time I checked survival of the GREAT CROWD OF OTHER SHEEP depends on instructions and direction given by Helpers to the GOVERNING BODY. What about those who are not EVEN part of the great crowd of other sheep?

Nice interpretation of what JACKSON said the problem lies in JACKSON words saying they are TRYING to DO SO and in essence TRYING TO BE GODS SPOKESMAN which is different from the QUESTION raised which is........
QUESTION: And do you see yourselves as Jehovah God's spokespeople on earth?
Answer: we view ourselves as trying to fulfil that role as JEHOVAH'S GOD'S SPOKESPEOPLE ON EARTH.
In essence they SEE themselves as trying to fulfill the ROLE.

The GB who are the spokesmen of the JW organization says the above about the ROMAN CATHOLIC in year 1956. Today the JWs see the roman Catholic as the leading EMPIRE of FALSE religion. You only need to apply the same standard to the JWs organization.
No matter how JACKSON try to wriggle free he still got himself and the ORGANIZATION nailed. They are PRESUMPTUOUS and the words of Samuel to Saul applies to them 1 Samuel 15:22-23..............IDOLATRY.

The whole transcript for this particular case study was interesting as the GB representative knew he got cornered many times despite his best efforts to DEFLECT from question asked he was still found out to be LYING.
