JAVA,
I wasn't agreeing with WTS policy. The intent of my thoughts were to chastise those who create problems with their bad actions. Maybe I should have said, bad actions should come back to bite us. There should be consequences for bad behavior. There often is as a result, but often at the expense of innocent victims. We all know the problems that immoral sexual behavior causes.
The Society certainly has crossed the line in their "sex policing". But cheating on your mate, pediphilia, bestiality, these are practices that deserve punishment by secular law along with some sort of treatment, I believe. I don't believe religions should be allowed to punish people other than maybe bar them from participating in services, shunning only those who pose a threat to peoples safety. However, if you live in a religious state, such as an Islamic country, I guess there isn't much of a choice. But, then again, I'm not religious anymore, although I've adopted some conservative values. If I learned anything from being a JW, it is to research your religion before jumping in. I don't plan on anymore "jumps".
