Your reply to me is totally baffling...as in "it makes no sense". I personally don't have any emotional energy invested in "Caspian" or any other faceless person on this board, so I'm not sure WHO you're directing this anger of yours toward.
I don't feel that I'm "bashing" anyone. I expressed a dislike of liars. Let those who wish to wear the label wear it.
You're taking quite an emotional stance on this issue...any particular reason?

I disagree Scooby, with just about everything you said.
When you post on a public forum, your words are subject to critique and review by the public. And people have a right to express how they feel. Whether "Caspian" is getting his jollies from reading the replies or not, doesn't matter. People have the right to say it.

Your good heart is showing again.
But you know what? I have a good heart, and I'm kind and very compassionate. I also have a very low tolerance for liars...especially habitual ones. It's my life experiences that have taught me to be that way. I don't view it as being harsh, just having a clear line of what I view as acceptable. Just my opinion.

Hey Sheila!
Is Anthony at Fort Myer in VA? My son was just sent there last week. Since he is a member of the Old Guard, he will be assigned to the funerals held at Arlington. Maybe they'll run into each other...though since one is a marine and the other army...maybe they're mortal enemies or something?
I know what you mean about the buttons and pins. When Dominic was home for his recruiting stint, he asked me to sew his new buttons on his dress uniform. I sewed them on super tight! Oh, but it was so nice having him home, I didn't care. Tell Anthony we're all proud of him.

Forget about it! Actually, I would think you felt kind of "empowered" by having an honest human reaction.
That's something we repressed so much when we were JW's. One of the greatest lessons I've learned since leaving is.........give yourself PERMISSION to be human. That's it.You can make mistakes, wrong choices, something you might think was in bad taste...it's ok. That's how we grow. Don't be surprised if you do it again...if the appropriate moment comes!
