Frustrated,
My husband has the same syndrome (refusing to think outside the box). It's very frustrating.
a few nights ago i asked two of my friends to watch the "young people ask: how can i make real friends?
" video with me, so that i could get an objective outside opinion.
and after watching it, we got into an hour long discussion about individual thought, the freedom of the mind, and the diffrences between personal opinions and forced opinions.

nancee,
I tend to disagree. Bookstudy on Tuesday nights is from 7:30 - 8:30. I think that leaves well enough time for a JW to make it back home in time to see the show. Those in the central time zone might maybe miss the very begining but could still catch most of it.

This is great Bill,
Thanks for posting it. I am making a copy so that I have this in hand the night of the dateline show... it might come in handy for me to show to my husband if need be.
Happy birthday to you Noidea!
a circuit judge ordered florida hospital doctors to give a premature baby girl a blood transfusion if needed to save her life.
the jehovah"s witness mother was 25 to 26 weeks pregnant when she gave birth, and the baby weighs less than one pound.. you can read the whole story on http://www.watchtowerinformationservice.org/ .
rado vleugel.
Thanks for the info. Rado! I needed this to show my husband proof of exact cases when blood is absolutely necessary.
I'm so glad the judge ruled for that poor baby to get the blood transfusion she needs.
well, i have been gone for over a month now.
i am surprised that people have been asking about me.
i just want to assure everybody that i am fine.
(((Gil!)))
I'm glad to hear from you! I was worried about you. I lost your cell #... and it's a long story that has to do with my hubby but I no longer use the Messenger account I had you on. Email me sometime.
I hope the two friends I talked to you about emailed you, they told me they were.
at about 6:30 this evening my mother passed away.. .
the best mother and the best wife anybody could ever be blessed with.
she was not only my mother, she was my friend.
(((((((((MOE))))))))))
I too am in tears reading your beautiful tribute to your mom.
I lost my father in 1992, after a horrible battle with cancer. When you said "Don't really quite know what to say, or how to feel" I remembered so vividly the day my father passed. I remember not knowing how to feel... Of course I felt sad but I also felt relieved that he was no longer in pain. It was the fact that he had to endure such pain that hurt me the most.
Now when I reflect on my memories of dad, they are no longer so painful but instead I find comfort in those memories and I'm so glad to have them.
May the love for your mother and your daughter sustain you and give you strength during this grievous time in your life.
With much sympathy,
Star
