  Is it Logical To Beleive In A Creator - GOD ? In This Scientific Age ?

  i don`t think so .

  hasn`t science ,astronomy ,time , .....proven it an illogical beleif ?.

  with the information about this solar system and it`s planets ,other stars and their planets that we have information about ,and the fact that no god has ever revealed him/her self in any shape or form 'there is no evidence that a creator / god has ever existed.. except in the minds of humans who want to control a section of humanity .. the fact that religions rely on "you have to have faith" to beleive in a god ,surely is a cop out.. i look forward to your comments .. and a happy new year to you all..

  but you have not at all mentioned the people he affected by doxing them or his "dating" of sex-trafficked young women(girls) and using prostitutes from poor countries that exploit young women in desperation, all while having his wedding ring on. This does not affect you in the slightest at all.

  You are correct in pulling me up on this ,I haven`t been reading anything about L. E . since day one ,I have really no idea about his activities or his lifestyle the only reason I posted was because of the amount of activities posts devoted to the subject of Lloyd Evans , as I have said before my bad and I apologise to one and all who have taken offence at my comments.

  Why Do JW`s still use the Name Jehovah ,when they admitted in the Aid Book that it is not the correct pronunciation of his name ?

  JW Broadcasting - simply a platform for narcissists?

  one thing i notice from sitting through a number of broadcasts is just how much these guys love their titles.

  it's always brother such-and-such, member of the gb, helper to the teaching committee, etc.

  it's never simply brother such-and-such, a local elder with such-and-such congregation.. it seems to me the witnesses are pretty quick to pick up on catholics who call their priests father, which at the end of the day is in much the same vein simply a title.. i suspect these titles point to a huge amount of narcissism of the part of those who revel in such titles, certainly it doesn't seem to fall in line with christ's advocation that the greatest amongst you should be be the least.

  You are quite correct and that is exactly what I see ?

  Jehovah is portrayed in white with a yellow glow around him and Jesus is on his right hand side in a blue/green / garment.

  Maybe it might help to use a magnifying glass on your PC get a clearer picture.

  Admittedly it is very difficult to make out ,but I assure you it is their.

  The question of course that we are all avoiding comes down to if there was nothing to begin with and GOD decided to create the universe and us on earth where did he ? come from ?

  IF one GOD existed in the distant past somehow, why not 2,3 or many more ?

  I know there is no answer to that question just as there is no answer to how things exist without a GOD .

  But getting back to the OP ,there is no scientific reason in this day and age to beleive in a GOD simply because "it" doesn`t make itself known ,doesn`t communicate and expose itself , and simply prove to humanity of it`s existence ?

  Simple ,not hard .?

  If it did any of those things many more of us WOULD bow down and serve "it"

  Oh ,I certainly remember the 1975 fiasco ,when tey tried to palm it off onto over zealous bros, running ahead of themselves .

  As for the Superior Authorities they first taught that it was the worldly govts /authorities etc ,then they had new light and went with Jehovah God and Christ Jesus as the Superior authorities ,then lo and behold more new light flashed and they reverted back to the World Govts and authorities .

  You can`t make this stuff up ,how JW`s can flip /flop from one extreme to another .

  IS it just me ? Regardless of whether this guy Lloyd is an asshole / saint or whatever in most peoples eyes ,I just can`t beleive so many pages have been spent in debating this guy`s life style ? Over such a long period of time ?

  Get a life people ?

  drinking wine in the Kingdom

  something jumped out at me that i never paid attention to while reading further into matt 26...in vs 28, he tells them his blood is to be poured out for the many for forgiveness of sin.

  but note vs 29 but i say to you: i will no menas drink again any of this product of the vine until that day when i drink it new with you in the kingdom of my father.

  cross reference luke 22:18 for i tell you , from now on, i will not drink again from the product of the vine until the kingdom of god comes.. what is the point of all of this: matt 26:29 " i drink it new with you " mark 14:25 " drink new in the kingdom of god.

  After reading all of these posts ,i am now only going to drink alcohol three days a week ,yesterday ,today and tomorrow !
