yesterday i had a x-mass card returned to me as it was undelivered from the usa ,obviously someone has moved and re-located ?

i watched the 7 part series and finished today .what struck me about the show was how one could cherry pick scriptures to believe whatever you want to believe.. the use of scriptures to back up the beliefs was in my mind an eye opener.. ok so it was over the top and a horror supernatural series with a bit of blood and gore,and if your a bit squeamish about that sort of thing close your eyes till those parts are over .. but what i found fascinating ,intriguing,was how one of the main characters used scriptures to enforce her understanding of how they applied to the here and now of the series.. cherry picking of scriptures to believe what you want to believe,with a little help from a priest ,pastor ,organization.. i would recommend it ,as you can easily see how, their are now more than 40,000 different christian sects in the world including the mainstream ones who believe they only have the "truth".. i welcome your thoughts if you have seen it.. ps.

I appreciate you have your Christian belief ,I`m speaking from a JW`s perspective ,their message of the "Good News".

Having said that ,I would still maintain that In Muslim countries the majority of Muslims have never of or understood the Christian message,previously nor do I see it ever happening in the future.

"This Good news of The Kingdom" has never ever been preached in all the Earth and never ever will be .

Billions of people in many parts of the earth have never ever heard of it and never will.

After 2000 years of Christianity and it`s nowhere near ever being fulfilled as a prophecy ,it should be obvious even to blind Freddy .

And if GOD never foresaw this ,then what does that say about GOD ?

Do we really need this many prayers in a day?

there’s no proof that prayers have any effect whatsoever, other than perhaps giving the person who prays a false sense of having done something.

all claims that prayers have been answered are either anecdotal, fraudulent, delusional or are the result of either pure coincidence or confirmation bias.. how many prayers do you need in a day?.

you get up and eat breakfast...you pray for another day of life.

Ask any Orthodox Jew who prays at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem how he feels about his prayers being answered and he is likely to say to you ......

"Sometimes it just seems like I`m talking to a brick wall "

How many of you remember the "Pioneer Shuffle " and the special "time reporting" of pioneers?

i started pioneering in my late teens an remember how slow pioneers would walk to the doors while out in circus.

also, they would not really talk to anybody at all.

they would start their time as soon as they got dressed an out the door, while us regular shucks started our time at the first door we knocked at.

I vacation pioneered once and hated every minute of it and witnessed the hypocrisy of counting time.

And still didn`t wake up

I could only count only 10 on that list of 100+30 ,and joey jojo beat me to it ,we aussies have a laneway of Bee Gees celebrating them in Redcliffe S.E.Qld where they grew up and went to school

No beards...even Jesus! Strange Watchower rule for brothers!

watchtower 1954 p.511 "why do watchtower publications now show jesus with short hair and no beard?

because he is shown that way in older representations of him that are older then the traditional effeminate looking pictures.".

watchtower 1968 p.286 "bible evidence and a recent review shows that jesus did have a beard..." charles russell style of beard was popular at bethel...till rutherford took over.

I had a couple of run ins with P.O. / Elders over my 32 years as a JW about my beard and I regret to say I caved in then.

But since 1993 I proudly wear my well trimmed beard ,and now i`m even letting my hair grow a bit longer ?

Who knows when it will stop ?

I can envision a lot of youths / pre-teens ,teenagers rebelling about going back to meetings after all this time.
