  we do one for the parade most every year.

  this year was a bust but the project is done and ready for next july.

  After all they are / were a religion that promoted the end of this system of things in the generation that saw 1914 , then 1975 ,then the end of the 20th Century ?

  I also think it’s absurd to expect people to get all dressed up just to be in their own living room.

  So true ,and then to have busybodys critisize you for what they see you dressed like ? or what you have in your living room ?

  Unbeleivable !

  Struggling to find a purpose

  i spent most of my life in the org.

  we were taught that our purpose in life was to serve jehovah.

  that never really made sense to me, but it was still a purpose to keep going.

  christine mcvie of one of my favourite bands of all time, fleetwood mac, has passed away.

  i don’t think she got as much credit as stevie nicks and lindsay buckingham as she should have, but she wrote her fair share of hit songs.

  such a beautiful and smooth voice to go along with stevie’s unique style.

  I`m with you Bro, I thought she also had a beautiful voice and added to the singing group .

  I loved some of her solos.

  Overall, Rumours was one of my all time favourite songs.

  You could also get involved in community activities in your area ,surely there is a variety you could choose from that may interest you.

  Such as :

  Senior Citizens

  Animal aid care

  Child protection agencys

  Hospital Liasion commttees

  And these are just a few off the top of my head

  And there are heaps more for you to choose from. You just need to search it out what`s avaiable in your area.

  Giving back in your community is heaps more rewarding and fulfills a purpose in life that surmounts anything the WT/GB would have you waste your time at .

  I`m going out on a limb here ! ....PIMO

  pimo , as i said i`m going out on a limb here and i might upset some people ,but i really don`t think this is a real strategy that works and doesn`t help the person who is still in.. while you may be doing this to keep the peace in the household and keep relations somewhat stable in the family arrangement ,it`s not helping the person who is still under the control of wt/gb to break free from it ,and isn`t that what you would really like to happen ?.

  and are their children involved as well ?

  that`s another issue ,the longer they are subject to this control the harder it will be for them to disengage get free.. maybe you should re-evaluate what you could do more to help your partner / spouse or whatever to free themselves from this bondage they have involved themselves in.. [ of course their may be others who are quite happy to have their partners/mates under the control of the wt/gb.

  ZaneM44 , Nobody and I mean NOBODY should endure an abusive relationship and they ,he/ she should end that relationship immediately.

  Their is no excuse for remaining in one ,help is there for all to take advantage of if only one applies.
