  to camouflage this, he starts and ends the talk by saying that isn't actually what he's doing.

  first he starts with the usual disclaimer, 'wt has never begged for money like christendom and we never will', you know the drill.

  Other religions do charitable work for a start . Right on Jan.

  Many of the mainstream churches are up front about how and where they do charitable works for people in need regardless of whether they belong to that particular religion or even if they have no religion at all ,they do not discriminate.

  I for one commend them for this, not being a believer myself anymore.

  Jehovah GOD a failed GOD in many respects.

  isn`t there enough evidence to acknowledge the god of the bible has been a failure ?according to wt / jw teachings ?.

  a god that has supposed to have created the visible universe and everything in it ?.

  some points where i would challenge that from an earthlings point of view using the bible if only in paraphrase.. doesn`t god create everything perfect ?

  I believed in him once upon a time ,the same as I did in Santa Clause . Sorry SB but I think your missing the point of my post .Its more of a challenge to believers who DO believe in the Bible /Jehovah God / JW`s who lurk here.

  Maybe I`m playing the devils advocate here .

  You believed in him enough to name him in the title of your thread and assume his existence, right?

  No not at all ,I could post about Apollo ,Zeus, or any other GOD you name it doesn`t mean I believe in them or that they ever existed .I`m talking to those who DO believe in them and that they exist such as Jehovah.

  I would like to see, which I wont of course, all of the posts from inception till whatever ,to be archived like an encyclopedia .

  There is such a wealth of information discussed here with both apologists and ex JW`s having their say.

  As I have said ,I don`t believe in the God of the Bible or the concept of sin.If there is no God/sin; so your questions are irrelevant to me.

  I don`t believe in the God of the Bible and I don`t accept the concept of sin .There is evil and crimes that are committed by humans just as the opposites are true

  Sin is just a controlling tool used by religion.

  the jehovah's witnesses have formally signed up to the national redress scheme for survivors of institutional child sexual abuse, more than a year after they were named and shamed for holding out.the federal government has announced another 34 organisations have joined the compensation program, allowing 37 stalled applications for financial support to finally be processed.more than 11,800 redress applications have been received so far, with around half having been processed and almost $530 million in payments made.a total of 526 organisations have signed up to the scheme, along with the commonwealth and all state and territory governments.the jehovah's witnesses were one of six of the original hold-outs, named by social services minister anne ruston in june last year.access to government grants were cut off, and the government sought to challenge the charitable status and tax concessions offered to such organisations as a punishment.
