I`m not sure I understand what your point is Anna Marina I`ve only looked at the video for 15 min,so far the first couple of min .were inaudible but the rest , he was speaking about the exploitation and sexual abuse and death? of children.

Then as you say he talks about the want and need to be loved without offering any real solutions and re-treading old ideas whatever that means ,so I`m not sure what his purpose is or yours for that matter.

Obviously you are a firm believer in the Bible and a God of love ,that I for one don`t see any evidence of that in the Bible at all .

But that`s just me and you are quite welcome to your opinions I don`t deny that .

when i was a kid in the late sixties the type of books we would study was very intense compared to the bull shit pablum that they put out today?

i mean the finished mystery and others now its these stupid books that don't dive deep into the beliefs.

The 7 trumpets in Revelation and the explanation given in the : book of "Revelation Its Grand Climax" or some such title that it depicted the Conventions that started In Cedar Point Ohio ? in 1922 ,then the following six more Conventions each year thereafter .

I thought that was a bit much ,maybe it was another nail in the coffin as regards my belief in JW religion.

At the time it was written I thought the green book "Yout Will Be Done" was a really good study book,dealing with the king of the North which was then USSR that now doesn`t exist { Union of Soviet Socialist Republic } and the so called Anglo-American World Power,that never really existed anyway looking back now.

But at that time it did seem to make a lot of sense during the "Cold War"

when the “year book” is published online next year, and the number of new baptisms is roughly the same as it always is, how are they going to deny that their new “converts” are nothing more than born-in kids of witnesses or already “captive” family and friends?.

the “billions” of hours of service are at best pointless and ineffective and at worse often fabricated.. what say you?.

Thanks Biahi , now the discontinuance of yearbooks really surprises me ,I was always interested to see what growths took place in many countries.

Yearbooks and experiences played a big part in my time as a JW ,sad to say now .

Maybe the GB decided to take away YB`s as it always now gave such negative vibes to the declining preaching work and the growing number of Anointed must surely have been a reason.

Jw`s giving up on living in a paradise Earth as it seems to be getting further and further away from them.

OK i`ll settle for dying and being resurrected to live in heaven and rule with JC .

Is this what the religion has come down too ?

It might have been a bit more plausible if instead of a snake talking in Genesis it was a talking parrot ,now that might have been a little bit more believable don`t you think ?

I have sent this above letter to the Herald Sun a Victorian Australian newspaper ,I wonder if it will be printed .

To my knowledge they have not been shamed publicly for not joining the scheme as was promised .

I don`t know about whether they have had their charitable status removed or not as was promised .

Keep a look out you Aussies for the Herald Sun letters to the editor . ( Victoria )

This young lady Grace Tame , been given "Australian Of The Year Award" for speaking out against child sexual abuse of which she herself was a victim,I can only hope it helps to bring to focus that a religion that claims to be Christian with over 60 000 members in Australia still refuses to join the Redress Scheme as some form of compensation for victims of child sexual abuse .

An abuse that occurred with at least 10006 victims in their own religion,and not one of them reported to the police or Child Protection Authorities by any Elder of the Church.

To date they have still not signed up .

i don't see the point, the galaxies will enter in collision in a very long time but i don't understand why a lovely god would do this it feels stupid.

Why not : Every living thing on planet earth lives off the death of some other living thing and has so since time indefinite. ? A loving God ? you decide .

Yearbooks discontinued after 2016 ? that`s interesting .

Pardon my ignorance but what is USPS ?

I received a JW letter the other week replied to it and haven`t heard anything back since ,so much for life saving work with their witnessing.

Everything related to the old Jehovah`s Witnessing is in decline ,from their publications to their witnessing ,to their increases from baptisms of worldly people ,and now to their exposure to child sexual abuses around the world that has and is tarnishing their image .

Are we to believe the tempter took him up into the mountain to be tempted ? And after 40 days the Devil put these questions to him ?

Or did they dilly dance around each other for 40 days while he was being tempted ?

In any case it seems that Satan was calling the shots as to when and where Jesus was going to be tempted .

Luke 4:13 "So the Devil having concluded all the temptation retired from him until another convenient time "

Whose in charge here ? Jehovah ? Jesus ? or Satan ?
