well, you're judging 2...not that that's a bad thing when you have to deal cautiously with a healthy dose of skepticism...
judge lest ye not be judged was only a censure to HYPOcrites who applied standards they weren't willing to lift a finger themselves for...
i think that lin and jgnat object on the basis of the posting tenure by the subject...yet if they read sKally's link he's been in difficulties for quite a while...does it make a difference if one posts 20 or 6000 times to be accorded respect and treated with credibility...i'd reread everything carefully first before rejudging the situation....
remember you can make a judgement and then change your judgement if you discover other pertinent information...that's having an open mind and being cautious at the same time...

i consider myself somewhat of a scholar.. i first attempted to get my questions answered by having jw's come to my home.
however, i was most disappointed because they were too busy trying to recruit me than trying to answer my questions.

BTW Trisilex I can recommend lots of books...just cruise the amazon ads here on books by Ray Franz, Penton and others...EXCellent reading.

well, i believe the Bible inasmuch as it contains historical content, etc. and those aren't the Gods I see....?***? I think most bible-believing people don't see God for who He really is and just make stuff up to suit their own petty agendae...
the JW "god" is a hitman in the sky...the JW view takes a dim view of opposers and rejoices in the destruction "SCHADENFREUDE"(sp?) while they are wisked away to a new england idlyllic paradise in the countryside while people get eaten by dogs, trampled in their winepresses of blood and sucked down into cracks in the earth.

The WTS claims "reasonableness" yet practices something quite contrary and unchristian...
there is something to be said for gut instinct...
