  You ever notice how personalities change when CO comes around?

  isn't it sickning when normaly people in the cong don't even speak to you.

  but when the co visits comes they want to shake your hand and even (cringe) hug you?

  then as soon as he leaves back to normal.

  Same here. I was so repulsed, that I refused to go in service the week of the CO's visit. Of course I was labeled as a brother with a BA (Bad Attidute).

  The other thing that rubbed me the wrong way, was the swithcing of the meetings to different nights of the week when he came. There was no considertaion for those who happened to arrange their work scheudles so they could attend weekly meetings. Then just because the CO comes to town people would have to make special requests to employers for the convienece of the CO.

  Awake: All good questions. Unfortunately dead people can't talk.

  I believe he killed her primaraly for the money.

  They most certainly had some serious issues in light of the middle night visit by the elder just hours before the murder.

  I also blam watchtower policy in that they make it very difficult to get a divorce.

  Low Disk Space Persists

  my c drive is running out of space.

  and to my surprise the low disk space problem persists after i free up disk space on my computer.

  i uninstalled a lot of programs.i thought that i have free space on my c drive.

  74GB is not very much storage. Especially if you store photos or movies. Most new laptops come with 1,000GB standard.

  You can buy 64GB SD cards for $30. Or an external hard drive for a few more $. Move all your personal docs and pix to the external drive or memory stick. This will keep your C: drive available for the OS. You should also see improved performance of your system.

  Ferguson Shooting (Is my thinking on this all wrong.......)

  i think everyone here can agree that walking down the street, even in the middle of the street, is not cause for having a clip emptied in your ass......... i can understand how the black community would be outraged by the injustice of seeing another black man dead in the street at the hands of the police under mysterious circumstances....... i hope that i'm not succumbing to the attempts to assinate the already well impuned character of the dead man...... however.

  i can't help but think that this could all have been avoided by exercising the proper discretion with fore-knowledge of the disadvantages people of color have when they are dealing with law enforcement in the united states.

  it is not as if this disadvantage has only since recently came to light.

  I was watch a TV show called "Dooms day prepers" this week. Each family on the show is concerned about specific doomsday scenarios. Then the show rates them on how well they are prepared on a scale of 1 to 100 for the specific even they are concerned about. One was concerned about the power grids taken out by a SME. The other family was worried about sea level rise. I think both families got 80 something out of 100 score. They also have experts predict how likely it is that the specifc scenario could occur.

  I was thinking how great would it be if they featured a JW on this show.

  Event: Armagedon at the hands of god that will kill off 99.9% of the world population.

  Preparations: Wait for the Governing Body of Jehovah's witness's to instuct us what to do.

  Score given by experts: 0.0 followed by uncontrolable laughter.

  It would be a very short but funny segment to this show.

  Maybe someone here who knows TATT would volunteer to be on the show and make the JW doomsday cult look like the fools they are.

  What did you do with old WT/Awake magazines?

  when you were a witness, what did you do with your old watchtower (public/ study versions) and awake magazines?

  i know for some throwing away a magazine is comparable to burning a quran.

  i never threw them out!

  I threw all of my bound volumes in the dumpster where they belong.

  I tried to use the old WT magazines to start camp fires but when I did, you could hear a loud demonic screem from them "Noooooooooooo!".

  the watchtower seems to have lost track of one of their favorite endtime players - the king of.

  how could they let such an important component of their prophecies vanish.. .

  growing up in the 50's and 60's i fully believed the watchtowers scheme for interpreting daniel.. and it was quite believable back then.
