On the bright side, there are only so many times he can add you to the litigation.

If that wasn't Evans, then I'd have to wonder why anyone would think that trying to frame him is a good idea. All it could do is help him, because he could really start to cry persecution. He's been doing a bang-up job of making himself look bad, all by himself. Really, the most effective person at making Lloyd Evans look bad is Lloyd Evans.
I'm curious how he'll respond. If it gets enough attention, I assume he'll tweet about it or make a short video. But if that was him, what can he say? Claim it wasn't him, that it was a setup? That would end badly. That it isn't anyone's business? Something something about airing people's dirty laundry? That it's really an attack on his poor, long-suffering wife and kids? That he's a professional activist, and you're not?
I'm inclined to think that it's him. And if it is, then I'm thinking he might hit that next Patreon level much sooner than I thought...

"The way these dating sites treat prominent professional activists is a travesty!"

If that were true, then every civil case would be proceeded by a criminal case, regardless of the chance of success.
You are correct. I meant to refer to a case that has already been adjudicated, which can mean that it was dismissed by a judge (which is what I expect will happen) or that the defendant was found guilty or innocent. For Evans, the only outcome that would be useful to him would be a guilty verdict.

Anyone else remember the Awake saying this?
by BottanicPepper ini may have put this in the wrong thread.
if so, i'm sorry.. my conundrum is this.... i am almost completely certain that an awake back in the 80's/90's mentioned a group of rock bands we shouldn't listen to and i seem to remember them actually naming guns and roses.. i can't find anything now, and i'm wondering if it's the mandela effect, or if it's another case of the cdrom versions of the awakes being doctored again.. does anyone else remember this?
or am i crazy?

We need God's kingdom. Just... not quite yet. If you think things are bad, remember that you are waiting on a being who made himself human just so he could spend a few days being horrifically tortured and killed. His tolerance for pain and suffering is way higher than you might imagine. -

2)So that when & if he lodges a civil suit, he can document that he registered a criminal complaint as supporting evidence?
I think that depends on the rules regarding evidence for civil trials in Croatia. It's likely that they would allow it, since it can help with the determination of liability. But Evans would not want to refer to it unless there was a conviction. Stating in a civil trial that he tried to initiate criminal proceedings but was unsuccessful would hurt his case. An acquittal would be worse, and the defendants could use that to undermine his case (if they, for some reason, decided to travel to Croatia to defend themselves, lol). But the criminal case won't go anywhere. He filed it (assuming he really did file it) for the PR value.
Or for what he perceived to be the PR value, anyway. I think the 'legal action' angle is a bad idea that will blow up in his face.

Well, I didn't mean self-awareness as in him realizing what kind of person he is. I mean at some point he might realize that his approach is hurting him and not helping. I don't expect he will ever do any honest self-reflection, but maybe he will realize that he needs to at least pretend that he understands why people are running from him. -

I was nine years old the first time I went on stage to read the week's Bible passage. Though I am pretty sure that my first few times were in one of the secondary rooms that only had seating for a dozen people or so. Those rooms were used for beginners a lot, since the smaller room/capacity made it more cozy and less intimidating.
I did pretty well, I had an aptitude for public speaking. Which is odd, since I was also painfully (and I mean painfully) shy and withdrawn, most of the time.

Start of the Great Tribulation will be announced soon
by joey jojo inat the 2021 annual meeting, samuel herd revealed new light and claimed the anointed will all have passed away before armageddon.
it has since been revealed that while they will die before armageddon, there will be some anointed still around that will witness the start of the great tribulation.. so the question is, how many years until the existing members of the governing body have passed away?.
im not a doctor, but based on their age and various stages of obesity, im thinking 10- 15 years- give or take, sounds about right.. with that in mind, the great tribulation could be announced any day.. the new understanding has now freed the org from the burden of having to identify a particular generation in relation to the date of armageddon.

It is plain to see if you read the "words of Jesus" here
Are you sure? There are few Bible passages that aren't interpreted in many ways, some of them completely at odds with each other. I am certain that there are many verses where the meaning should be plain, yet people still come to different conclusions. I think one major reason for this is that we are heavily influenced by our religious upbringing or guidance, so that we start with a specific set of beliefs that we work to maintain even before we've read a single Bible verse. Before we begin, we are already determined to interpret things a certain way. It derails any real attempt at gaining understanding of what is written.
