That is actually a good post. It shows that our reasoning has its limits. our perception, living in thin, 5 km deep gas envelope, skinny around around a globe with a 6000 km radius. Incomprehensible for us, that energy is undestroyable, is uncreated, existing within infinite time, --- really does not sink in. so, yes, rocks do not lift themselves, do not speak the good news.

Fact is too, that the deity is actually responding not to a threat of his own making only. see Rev 11:18: " God will destroy those destroying the Earth" .many, not just wtBtS inc agree, the planet needs a clean up. humans are a ticking time bomb. but yeah,

The fault in my analogy is, of course,
pp: the fault is that you failed to mention that the threat of the explosion is planned, the bomb planted by the all powerful deity himself, and the timer is claimed to go off at a given "day and hour", only known to its creator.
sounds like a protection racket, unless there is another hook, namely that that bomb is somehow the only way to deal with a characteristic of the music lovers, , even the band. .

wt used to view all baptized males as being the head of all baptized sisters.. this view led to such absurdities as a sister having to wear a head covering on a bible study because her baptized 10 year old son was sitting in on the study with her.
If a woman's hair is by nature longer than a man's, then it follows that her hair is her head covering.

What does "publicly prays" mean in the context of a home bible study? If a woman is in her house
iX: wt wants to control the world, so: all prayers connected with a reported activity, bible study, backcall, head count, even done hidden at home is an extension of the congregation function. which jurisdiction covers the world. therefore any such organised, taught or mandated activity requires authorizing head covering.

let me explain what i mean: i was in the company of a workmate when i looked at my hands and my arms and pointed out the veins and said something like look at that, isn`it amazing how veins and arteriies circulate the blood through our bodies ?.
he later explained to me he wasn`t sure what he should say to me as we had been working together for about six years and he had never once brought up about his jw background .he was what we would call a weak witness and he considered me a street kid who swore and drank too much.
i was twenty years old at the time.. i can`t remember the actual conversations that transpired ,but thats what started me down the road to becoming a witness and then convincing my gf to join me and about two years later we were married in a kh.. can you point to any one thing or conversation that started you down the road to becoming a witness?.
Here with me, a workmate too, it had something to do with witnesses not being in the army, not "destroying the Earth" in war. ( he had been a cook in the Waffen SS) he was cooky too, war experiences and to much lead in his system from work. I was baptised 6 month later, pioneer 6 month after that. special a year after that., back to semi-normal in 1975
