  deist here, but was confronted with the existence of a beyond physics presence. strong belief in a creator, that needs not to further tinker in his work, that will work itself out now on it's own.

  It is still a valid definition, nonetheless.

  no, it is not Fisherman,

  it is invalidated by Jesus' words:

  This generation will not pass away until all these things have occurred.

  the charts show that the generation of anointed will pass away. short of the beginning of the end.

  For one thing, people would be not bored, but paying attention, Even GB members take stabs at that. Feel sorry for David Splane though, never seen or heard him seriously attempting, or succeeding to use humour as a teaching tool.   i'm noticing what seems to be a higher incidence of the above among the local jws than in the "general" (read: worldly) population.

  i don't say this lightly, my wanderings around the fringes of jw society locally is revealing an alarming trend here.

  the poverty doesn't help (there are good jobs, but you need a degree or qualifications to get one).. anyone else see this?

  hoarding would be a natural for a doomsday cult. sophisticated survival preparations another thing. I did not see a sign of that in the bunker bonkers video. As a joke it is always good to say, "we'll keep that for the great tribulation ha ha.

  some of the wt beliefs are obviously jokes. who would have thought that two types like Franz and his latter day twin would take us to a 2075 Armageddon date? seriously, that is funny! and also stated wt doctrine, prophecy!

  it's a cold 13 degrees fahrenheit in tennessee this morning where i live.

  glad i'm retired and don't have to work outside today.

  Singing todays WT

  the jist was that we all should sing.

  then the first 6 or 8 paragraphs describe how early bible accounts have trained and set aside musicians to do the singing while everyone else listened.. the songs they have put out have no soul, rhythm, or soothing melodies as a whole.

  the old hymns are some real music, even if you don't agree with the "teachings".. there is no admission of poetry using archaic language at times for affect or to add to the rhyme, they have to have everything agree with the grey bible.. anyone speak foreign languages?
