  Would human settlement of Mars invalidate Bible prophecy?

  i don't think this topic has been discussed before but yesterday i read something to the effect that trump wants a human mission to mars to be completed within his presidency.. with that being said, the watchtower teaches that what started on earth ends on earth, in other words, the fall of adam and eve would end with the passing of the 1,000 year millennial reign when christ destroys all his enemies, rebellious "perfect" humans, and the devil and his demons who are let out the abyss for a short while.

  he then hands the kingdom back to his father.

  an elder in my old congregation once told us during a public talk that he was an ardent astronomer but then referenced the scripture where it says, "the earth he has given to the sons of men" (psalms 115:16).

  there is no such thing as "Bible prophecy."

  On one trip to Wallkill I saw a column of vultures circle over there, I thought: " already?" Wallkill at that time had a strange hippy colony at the corner of the entrance road. the tour showed the home projects of the bethelites I looked for home-build aircraft, Icarus anyone? , nope. hey showed a book trimming machine with flailing knives in action I thought: not a nice way to go. Super fast fingers in the packing department, the able young brother was still able to scan for that super sister's approval. Eating at Bethel? already described, a survivalist experience. Strangest in Brooklyn, being herde between two masonite walls in Columbia heights while being lectured by a substitute local, one look outside and one hearty handshake by an unidentified old timer Brother Friend? hopefully. amazed at the luxury of the nearby wt hotels. Patterson? looking at the place from a setup across the street that was all. Abroad. The cleanest bathroom in a city of millions.

  one another You need stepping stones before you take a loooong trip like that.

  VI: --This was the big conceptual divide in the US Moon program, Von Braun wanted a setup of permanent stations, above the Earth, above the Moon, and 3 type of shuttles for the 3 type of trips. Congress with it's 4 year cycle of funding nixed that. People went to the moon with a car packed on a fat rocket and on return splashed down almost naked on a parachute (carrying a bag of pebbles) leaving no re-usable infrastructure behind.

  Trump is no von Braun. More important than engines are brakes. I doubt that even in a century we will be ready to really do it. bible prophecy? the overlapping generation will expire by 2075 or 2125. May be going to heaven will have a new meaning bey then?.

  DJ: thank you: This was one of my dignified experiences in the "ministry". what the gentlemen explained was that he believed not in a personal messiah, but in the messianic age, where jews however would play a major contributing role, which i took for a scientific one. So my question was more about the future of that concept, rather than how an idea could morph from a person to an epoch with many players. This is human, and

  colonizing Mars would strip the Pilgrims of much of that humanity ( humus from earth's soil,) Would those born on Mars be homesick for that bleak landscape like we are to the "Jerusalems" of our youths?

  P.S. the article mentioned a common genetic source for the condition and "anxiety from separation fro parents " aka (sissy) .a more interesting detail:

  Whatever Happened to the District Overseers? Who Took Over their Responsibilities?

  when i was in, during the 1970s, i would see circuit overseers twice a year.

  i think there were two occasions when i saw a district overseer give a talk at the hall.

  were eliminated as part of a streamlining process but who the hades has taken on their responsibilities?

  A.N.Z.A.C. Day 25th April 2017.

  this day is when there are memorial services across australia and new zealand for our nations' war dead.. on the 25th april 1915 the australian and new zealand army corp' swept ashore at a beach on the mainland of turkey at a place they call galliboli or gallipoli as it is known to us.

  the soldiers were landed at the wrong beach and were shot to hell they faced cliffs and thick coastal scrub.

  they were supposed to be landed some miles further along the coast which was lightly defended and flat sandy beaches.

  It seems there is no hatred between the two sides now. Hard to hate near antipodes? but

  Turkey learned it's lesson, did not get involved in the re-match,-- WW2. and of course, there was not a lot of recrimination because of the two sided mistreatment of prisoners of war so common in the other conflict. Armenia aside.

  2 parts to that question:

  a) what happened to the people? have not seen one of them since. perhaps they live in better places than me, affordable only with tax free green handshakes?

  b) what happened to the supervising of circuit overseers? they are now more centrally trained. who knows how they are monitored?
